If you are feeling some anxiety this morning,
It's okay,
Sit down and close your eyes for a moment,
Just be here with me now,
Bring your focus to my voice,
Allow the breath to slow and deepen naturally as you consciously inhale and exhale,
Slowly and deeply,
You are safe,
This moment is okay,
You are here,
You are here,
Feel your body pressing against your seat,
Wiggle your fingers and toes and I invite you to place both of your hands over your heart space,
Feel the pressure of your hands on your heart and allow the sensation to comfort you,
To embrace you like a warm hug,
Breathe,
Soften,
You are okay,
Notice the rise and fall of your heart space with each breath and allow your loving hands to support your heart with each inhale and exhale,
Feeling comforted,
Feeling nurtured,
Feeling held,
Just be here now,
Be with your heart,
Feeling grounded,
If you feel as though your anxiety has eased,
Wonderful,
If not,
That's okay,
Take as much time as you need and just sit here,
Breathe and focus on your hands as they gently press against your heart space,
Offering you so much comfort right now,
Because this feeling of anxiety will pass,
If you are ready to end this meditation,
You may go ahead and lay your hands down on your lap and take five deep breaths,
Feeling your body soften and relax with each exhale,
Thank yourself for giving yourself this gift of presence,
To sit with what you are feeling and to welcome in a different state of being that feels more calm and at ease,
When you are ready you may slowly open your eyes and I wish you a beautiful day ahead.
