Raga Bhagashwari is already a Raga in association to the goddess of music and knowledge Saraswati as Bhag means tongue in Sanskrit and Ishwari goddess. The Bhajan is inspired by my world-famous Indian slide Guitar teacher in Kalkatta Debashish Bhattacharia who composed the lyrics and the melody on the spot during one of our lessons and revealed a truly divine moment. Head & Heart Music. This is our rendition and tribute rearranged and set in a 12 beat cycle.
