A Novena is a Christian tradition of praying for nine consecutive days or weeks in order to fulfill a specific intention or petition. The word “novena” comes from the Latin word novem, which means “nine”. The Surrender Novena was given to the servant of God, Father Dolindo Ruotolo in the early 1900s, for you to pray NOW. People have received countless graces, blessings, and timely miracles, both spiritual and material. Welcome to our 9-Day Prayer Challenge. This is Day 7.

Good morning.

God morning to you.

I planted a garden in you before the beginning.

I planted and I gave orders to the gardener,

Attend to my trees,

Attend to my new plants that they sleep not nor slumber,

That they forget not the order of love that has been given them.

That's from the Psalms of Thomas.

In my father's house are many mansions.

If it were not so,

I would have told you I go to prepare a place for you.

I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly.

I have come to prepare a place for you.

When your thoughts turn to me,

There I am with you.

And when you make mention of me within yourself,

I make mention of you within myself.

And when you make mention of me in company,

I make mention of you in better company.

If you draw near to me a hand's breadth,

I draw near to you an arm's length.

If you draw near to me an arm's length,

I draw near to you the length of both arms,

Wide,

Outstretched.

And if you come to me walking,

I come to you running.

And if you meet me with sins equivalent to the whole world,

I will greet you with forgiveness equal to it all.

Close that body's eyes and feel your heart bloom.

Fill the flowers that are at your feet blooming.

The ones in your hair,

The crown of flowers on your head,

Fill them in bloom.

Make sure you're sitting up straight to balance that crown,

That halo of beauty.

You are radiant.

You don't have eyes to see it yet,

But you can fill it.

A quiet radiance,

It doesn't give off heat.

Like Kabir says,

A light without oil,

Without a wick,

Without a flame,

Without form.

A joy that never sets a flower ever in bloom.

A miracle.

Jesus says,

I perform miracles in proportion to your full surrender to me and to your not thinking of yourself.

I so treasure troves of graces.

When you are in the deepest poverty,

No person of reason,

No thinker has ever performed miracles,

Not even among the saints.

He does divine works whosoever surrenders to God.

So don't think about it anymore because your mind is dull and for you it is very hard to see evil and to trust in me and to not think of yourself.

Do this for all your needs.

Do this all of you and you will see great continual silent miracles.

I will take care of things.

I promise this to you.

And now we pray 10 times.

Oh Jesus,

I surrender myself to you.

Take care of everything.

Oh Jesus,

I surrender myself to you.

Take care of everything.

Oh Jesus,

I surrender myself to you.

Take care of everything.

Oh Jesus,

I surrender myself to you.

Take care of everything.

Oh Jesus,

I surrender myself to you.

Take care of everything.

Oh Jesus,

I surrender myself to you.

Take care of everything.

Oh Jesus,

I surrender myself to you.

Take care of everything.

Oh Jesus,

I surrender myself to you.

Take care of everything.

Oh Jesus,

I surrender myself to you.

Take care of everything.

Oh Jesus,

I surrender myself to you.

Take care of everything.

And now our concluding prayer.

Mother,

I am yours now and forever.

Through you and with you,

I always want to belong completely to Jesus.

Amen.

Your whole life is in bloom.

What you thought was dead,

Look again.

What you thought was impossible,

He didn't agree with you.

Feel the promise of it.

All you have to do is keep facing the sun and letting these words water you,

Letting your practice work the soil while you face the sun.

You're face to face with him right now and he's saying,

I am proud of you for keeping the faith,

For walking with me even though I know you don't want to.

I know you're scared.

I know you still have your doubts,

But I am proud of you with this mustard seed of faith you have and the father and the I am.

I'm proud that you take moments to stop and fill it,

To let it comfort you,

To let it love you back to life,

Back to work,

But not today.

Today we rest.

Let your mind rest.

Lay your thoughts down.

Even if you don't lay that body down,

Lay your thoughts down and watch me do it.

I love you.

I love you.

I love you.

I love you and we'll chat soon.
