A Morning Prayer Of Thanksgiving & Praise

Our Father who art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done,

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

And forgive us of our trespasses,

As we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom,

The power,

And the glory,

Forever.

Amen.

Our God and our Father in heaven,

We thank you for a new day.

Thank you for the Son.

Thank you for the breath of life.

We thank you for clarity of thought.

Thank you for the functioning of the members of our body.

We thank you for one more day to accomplish the tasks that you have destined for us.

Thank you for loving us,

Caring for us.

Thank you for guiding our footsteps.

Thank you for leading us in the direction that you would have us to go.

Lord,

Thank you for our families,

Our friends,

Our loved ones.

Thank you for our children,

Our parents,

Our siblings,

Our extended families.

Thank you for our communities.

Thank you for leadership,

Locally and from the state level and internationally.

Father,

We ask you this day that you will continue to strengthen us.

Bless us,

O God.

Give us courage to face this day.

Forgive us of any wrong that we might have done against anyone.

Grant us peace,

Love,

And joy.

Bless us in all that we do.

Guide us to think on good things.

Protect us from all danger and hurt,

Both seen and unseen.

Cover us in the pavilion of your love.

Keep us through the storms of life.

Give us the strength that we need.

O God,

Thank you for patience.

Thank you for being our Lord and our God.

Thank you for being our friend.

Thank you,

God,

For your son,

Jesus.

Thank you for your sacrifice of love.

Protect us and keep us in your care.

We will be careful to tell you thank you.

We honor you.
