Welcome to this morning's meditation Awakening Light.
This is a time to connect with the dawn,
Embrace the gift of a new day and awaken your mind,
Body and spirit.
So please find a comfortable position either sitting or lying down and gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Allowing your lungs to fill completely and then exhale slowly through your mouth.
With each breath feel yourself becoming more grounded,
More present in this moment.
Now bring your awareness to your heart center.
Take a moment to reflect on the many gifts in your life.
Consider the people you cherish and the opportunities that lie ahead.
As you breathe in deeply,
Visualize a warm radiant light filling your heart with gratitude.
With each exhale let go of any negativity or worries,
Creating space for appreciation and joy.
Imagine the first light of dawn breaking over the horizon.
Picture the soft hues of pink,
Orange and gold blending together as the sun begins to rise.
Feel the warmth of this light surrounding you,
Illuminating every corner of your being.
As you take a deep breath in,
Visualize this awakening light filling your mind with clarity and inspiration.
With each breath,
Allow this light to flow into your body,
Awakening your senses.
Feel it energizing your arms and legs,
Revitalizing every cell as it spreads from your head to your toes.
You are being bathed in the gift of a new day filled with endless possibilities.
As the sun rises higher,
Let this light awaken your mind,
Body and spirit.
Visualize it igniting a sense of vitality within you,
Stirring your creativity and passion.
Picture your body becoming lighter and more energized,
As if you're absorbing the very essence of the sunrise.
Feel this awakening energy flowing through you,
Connecting you to the world around you.
Embrace the sensations of being fully alive,
Fully present in this moment.
Allow yourself to smile gently,
Welcoming the day with open arms.
Now take a moment to reaffirm your connection to life,
Acknowledge the beauty of this new day and the opportunities it brings.
With each inhale,
Fill yourself with gratitude for the experiences that await you.
With each exhale,
Release any doubts or fears,
Making room for hope and excitement.
Set an intention for the day ahead,
Something that aligns with your heart and spirit.
Perhaps it's a commitment to embrace joy,
Spread kindness or pursue a passion.
Whatever it is,
Let it be anchored in gratitude for the gift of life.
Now bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
