This meditation is for you if you have woken up in the middle of the night and are trying to get back to sleep.
So begin taking a gentle deep breath in and a gentle exhale out and share with yourself this kind reminder that it's okay if you wake up in the middle of the night.
There's nothing to fix.
There's nothing to change.
We can be right here in this present moment appreciating yourself,
Your mind,
Your body exactly as you are.
Knowing you're supported in this moment.
Gently keeping the eyes closed.
Allowing the eyes to rest.
Breathing in gentle thoughts.
Exhaling ease.
Staying with the calm and ease of the night.
Providing some gentle energy to the feet,
To the knees,
The legs,
The stomach.
And let's focus in now on the heart space.
Just allowing yourself to breathe into the heart.
Breathing in light.
Exhaling ease.
Just be here right now.
Nowhere to go.
There's nothing you have to do.
We want to just be supportive of ourselves.
And really trying to just give the body some restful thoughts.
Gently breathing in.
Gentle exhale out.
Finding the space you need to be exactly who you are in this moment.
Putting some energy back into the feet,
Into the knees,
Into the legs.
Breathing into the stomach and back to the heart.
And continuing on here.
Just allowing yourself to breathe this peace right up into the neck,
The head.
Allowing yourself this blanket of peace and calm to wrap around you.
And for these next few minutes here,
I'll be quiet.
And the idea here is just to simply listen to the music with your full presence.
Not letting any thoughts get in the way.
And just gently being with yourself here in this moment.
Taking a deep breath in and a gentle breath out.
Continuing on in this peaceful space and place.
Knowing that all is enough as is.
