Good evening.

This meditation is designed to help you release the stress and tension from your day.

Ideally suited to being taken when you've just gotten back home,

Before you sit down on the couch,

Engage with the family,

Friends,

Your partner.

Just take a quiet pregnant pause in a moment for yourself to help you leave all of that at the door and enter a place of peace and rest.

Let's begin.

Let's wind down together.

Sit comfortably.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

Hold it at the top.

And with your eyes closed,

Exhale.

Roll your neck,

Roll your shoulders.

Take a deep breath in again.

Hold it at the top.

And arch your back,

Back.

And raise your chin to the ceiling and exhale through your mouth.

Let's do that one last time.

Deep breath in.

Hold it at the top.

Arch your back,

Chin to the ceiling.

And exhale.

Allow your shoulders to naturally drop.

And let's start.

See yourself lying in a meadow under a twilight sky.

The stars begin to shimmer.

And with each breath you feel the gentle pull of the earth beneath you.

As you exhale,

Let the events of the day float away like clouds moving across the sky.

Hear the gentle hum of crickets in the distance.

And feel the cool evening breeze on your skin.

Imagine a soft blanket of starlight wrapping around you,

Providing comfort,

Providing peace.

And as you continue to breathe,

You sink deeper into relaxation,

Releasing tension from your shoulders,

Your chest,

Your legs,

Your hips and your feet.

Just feel the day drift away.

And as we close,

Affirm to yourself,

I release the day.

I am at peace.

I am whole.

I am grounded.

I am present.

Rest in this peaceful stillness for a few more breaths.

And when you're ready,

Take one final deep breath,

Gently stretch,

Exhale.

And return to the beginning of your evening with a sense of calm,

Presence and grounding.
