Okay,
In today's life coaching commentary,
I want to discuss the purpose of fear.
The fact is,
Though,
It seems that most people,
Both men and women of all ages,
Tend to carry a certain amount of fear in our energy and our psychology that has nothing to do with a warning sign meant to protect our physical or mental health.
Most of us seem to carry a certain amount of fear,
A low level of anxiety,
Throughout our day,
No matter what we're doing,
Even if we're in a peaceful,
Calm,
And completely non-threatening environment.
And since it's so common,
There must be some reason for it.
It takes a tremendous amount of self-understanding to realize what's happening,
And then even more self-management to be able to let go of that fear,
To understand what's happening,
And then clear it out of your system so that it doesn't start eating up your life energy.
And also,
It may be true that today,
In 2026,
There are lots of reasons to have fear.
As well,
Fear has been part of the human condition for a very,
Very long time.
This idea that human beings can sense agitation in the energy around them,
Which will give them cause for fear or anxiety that's generalized,
That's not attached to a real threat.
I believe that a lot of this generalized anxiety and fear is part of a higher spiritual purpose.
That when you deal with fear that's beyond a mechanism for self-protection,
You've got to manage yourself better,
And ultimately,
To do that,
You're forced to go deeper into the spiritual realm.
So let me explain why I think that is.
If you're someone who goes through your day with a low level of anxiety that's sort of constant,
That's eating up your life force energy.
All of us are responsible for what goes on inside our thoughts and our feelings before we either say or do something.
That's where the inner management comes in.
We all have a life force,
We all have life force energy.
Now if we're experiencing a lot of fear in this life,
When there's no real threat,
To manage your life force,
You've got to begin a dialogue.
But that would be done within your own mind,
And it's very deeply personal.
That agitation that gets you riled up for no reason and steals your life energy and makes you much more tired at the end of the day,
And that also interferes with your thought process and certainly your decision making.
Human beings everywhere,
Of all ages,
Are notorious for making bad decisions about a whole bunch of things.
And a lot of that is the fear that interferes with our thinking process.
It interferes with our clarity of thought.
These are some of the reasons why it's so important to have a handle on our own fear.
Being able to recognize it and then dispel it,
Get rid of it,
Get it out of our systems.
And one of the best ways to do that is to develop a relationship with our creator.
This can be through meditation and in the privacy of your own mind.
You can ask as to why you're feeling this way,
Why are you having so much anxiety?
And really listen to your intuition.
That's the bridge between the spiritual and the physical realm.
The messages you get there can be very informative on how and why you're feeling fear and how to get rid of it.
Many times we're called upon to do something that makes us nervous,
But that we know is not inherently dangerous.
For example,
Speaking to a group of people.
Some people are very nervous and scared about doing that.
Other people are quite comfortable.
And sometimes it takes a while to develop confidence in front of a group and speaking to them with ease.
So sometimes just doing the thing that you're afraid of can help you understand that it really wasn't that scary in the first place.
And that the fear was displaced because you didn't want to look foolish,
When in reality you really didn't make any big mistakes.
And you improved.
At the same time,
Sometimes our fear does get the better of us and we really do screw up.
But ultimately comes back to fear.
Knowing that you're a divine creation,
Knowing that all human beings are connected energetically,
Means we are having a shared experience,
Which can raise the fear level,
Or can dispel it completely,
Because people will understand where you're coming from.
Learning how to hold that feeling.
Sometimes the fear does not leave you.
Sometimes it sits in your gut,
In your heart,
In your back.
It makes your hands shake,
Makes your palms sweaty,
And you can't for the life of you stop these biological symptoms from happening because you're just so nervous.
But you've got to pretend like you're not,
Like you're in charge,
Like you're feeling confident.
And that actually can be an incredible situation for growth,
Spiritual growth,
And physical and mental maturity.
As part of the warrior's way is to recognize the fear inside of them and then do what they need to do anyway.
With confidence,
Or at least boldness,
If they're not feeling confident,
Honoring the moment,
No matter how you feel.
So learning how to deal with your mind and your biology when you're feeling nervous and scared is something that everyone deals with at some point or another.
And frankly,
Some people have to deal with a lot more of it for a lot longer throughout their lives than others.
And that doesn't mean anything.
It doesn't mean that someone's weaker or stronger than the other.
It's just what they have to deal with.
And sometimes the feeling of fear is not to be taken very seriously.
Sometimes when there really isn't a threat and you're not getting any intuitive messages,
It's probably not a big deal.
It's probably something that's just coming up from your own psychology,
Your own subconscious.
Watching the thoughts will help you determine that.
Sometimes it's as nebulous as just being in a certain environment and you're picking up on the energy there.
Again,
It's not you.
If you can find a way to stay energetically contained,
That'll help to start dissipating the fear.
That's a very spiritual thing to do,
Is being energetically contained,
So that you don't take on the energy of the people and the environment around you,
While at the same time you're aware of what's happening energetically around you.
That perhaps a lot of people do seem to be on edge,
But that's not going to affect you.
You're aware of it,
But you're going to stay calm and centered.
So I hope this has given you some idea as to why fear can be perhaps a spiritual tool for growth.
Perhaps there's a greater purpose for fear than just to protect us biologically and mentally.
So thank you for listening,
And I wish you a very prosperous day.
