Hello and welcome to our community meditation space.
My name is Vivian Gerard and it is my delight to be guiding us in a meditation for the new moon in Pisces.
As we settle into this time together,
I invite you to picture yourself walking into our virtual living room,
Finding your seat and sitting down in circle as we turn to astrology to guide our human journey.
Let us close our eyes and wiggle yourself more firmly into whatever place you have chosen to rest for this meditation time.
There is a lot of active energy moving,
A lot of volatility in our external world and choosing to be fully present is a powerful claiming of your own inner calm,
Your own inner knowing,
Deepening your trust in your own intuition.
I invite you to call all of your energy into you for this time that you have claimed to be still.
How do we do that?
You may choose to lengthen your breath,
To slow down your breathing.
You may choose to focus on the core of your body and magnetizing all of your power,
All of your awareness back into your body.
You may choose to focus on your feet and guide all of your energy as it starts to come back into your body,
Guided all the way down through to your feet,
Filling yourself up with you.
We aren't inviting anyone else or their energy to come into your meditation space.
This is just for you.
And as you call your energy into your body,
Notice your body's reaction.
You may find that your legs are tense or your shoulders are hunched.
What if you could cue your body to safety by relaxing your muscles,
Consciously unwinding your muscles.
Your body might gurgle or move energy.
You might find your yawning or your eyes are tearing up.
When we call our energy back into our body,
There is a physical experience of that.
Sometimes that feels uncomfortable and we pop back out or we move our attention,
Our focus outside of our body because it might feel tight or too much inside of our body.
In today's meditation,
I encourage you,
Invite you to go deeper into your own body.
To relax your muscles,
Let yourself know you are safe.
If you are able to pause to listen to a meditation,
You are safe.
And so why not use this time to fully experience what is available for you inside of you?
We do that by being fully inside of our human form.
So call more of you home to your body.
You might find you're unraveling from the collective conversation,
From the collective noise.
You might find you're unraveling from a specific person or situation.
Perfect.
Call your energy back into you.
And to know that all of that external noise is waiting for us when we come out of meditation.
This space,
This time is to harmonize our own mind,
Body,
Soul,
Heart.
To listen to what our body needs,
To learn how to work with the power of our mind,
To heal our heart,
Soothe our heart,
And to be able to listen to the soul.
Use your breath and guide your awareness deeper into your body.
Your mind may be asking,
What does this have to do with the new moon in Pisces?
Now more than ever,
Our trust in our knowing,
Our intuition,
Is going to be the best guide for us,
The best roadmap,
The best GPS system.
It will come from inside of each of us.
And at a new moon in Pisces,
We set intentions.
When our intentions come from a grounded,
Deep knowing that comes from inside,
Those intentions are more powerful,
More aligned,
Amplified.
Before we set intentions,
Becoming present is the first step.
So notice what is happening inside of your body when you are fully here.
You may want to scan your body.
I like to see a small version of myself with a little clipboard walking around through my body inside,
Taking notes.
What do we need?
Where is our physical vessel for this human lifetime?
Where is it needing extra strength,
Extra resources,
Extra rest,
More movement,
Less movement?
Allow your body to talk to you,
To show you what do you need so that as your body becomes stronger and more resourced,
Calmer,
As your nervous system soothes itself from the external noise,
There is an easier pathway for harmonizing mind,
Body,
Soul,
Heart.
When the body is stressed or overwhelmed or exhausted,
It is challenging to feel creative or clear on what our intentions are.
So take your time.
Be curious about your body.
As the infinite soul,
I believe we choose our physical body with great care.
It has the exact structure and form and heritage and culture that serves the path that we want to be taking in this one lifetime.
In this moment,
How is your body?
And what does it need from you?
Allow your mind to take notes,
To write down specific action steps that will support you.
And if it's not specific action steps that you are feeling,
Perhaps it's more an emotion or a color,
A frequency.
You may hear song lyrics in your head.
Trust that.
Play the music,
The song that you're hearing,
And notice what that does,
How it shifts your body's state of being.
When we are still in meditation in this way and listening very quietly,
Intently to our body,
The information that comes through will come through in the way that you receive it.
Words,
Images,
Colors,
Scents.
It's exactly the way that is perfect for you.
Allow yourself to receive those messages and then relax with your breath and guide your awareness lower through your body down to your feet.
We are in between Pisces and Aries right at this new moon,
We're in the last few days of Pisces about to step into the equinox with Aries and a whole stack of planets in Aries.
Being grounded,
Grounded in our body and grounded connected to the earth is going to be the most powerful way to bridge this shift in energy.
Imagine from the bottoms of your feet,
You can grow roots that go deep and wide under the surface of the earth,
Under your feet,
Just like the tree roots,
Winding and weaving and overlapping with the trees in your neighborhood.
Your roots from your feet go far down.
You might feel that in your body as a tug in your stomach,
Or your shoulders may be pulling forward.
Straighten your spine,
Open your shoulders,
And still allow your roots to go deeper,
Keeping your body stretched and straight and open.
Even as the roots underneath your feet travel miles down underneath the surface of the earth.
When we are rooted in this way,
We are supported by the consciousness of the earth even more powerfully than we normally are.
Just like the tree that has really deep roots can stand straighter and stretch its branches out wider.
It is the same for us in physical form.
So imagine that you are rooted in the earth and from the bottoms of your feet,
You can release anything that is ready to go down into the earth.
Doubt,
Fear,
Overwhelm,
Stress,
Anxiety,
Exhaustion,
Whatever it is that feels too much for you to hold.
What if you can allow that as an energy to run from your feet through the roots down into the earth?
The earth receives that as simply energy without the filter we put on it of good or bad.
And then the earth redistributes,
Sends that energy to where it is of greater use.
I love to see the waste that I send through my roots being transmuted and coming up in the neighborhood around me as daffodils in the spring.
The green buds on the trees that are just starting to show here.
Relax your muscles.
Allow this process to feel easy,
Not forced.
You can straighten your spine,
Open your shoulders and release toxicity through your roots down into the earth while your body is relaxed and at ease.
And then rest for a moment.
There is a storm raging outside the windows.
That is such a beautiful symbol for us.
We can create calm,
Quiet,
Even when there is a lot of turmoil externally.
With your roots steady and strong underneath your feet and your spine straight,
Slowly bring your awareness from your feet back up through your body scanning your body as you go,
If you would like,
Noticing how you are shifting your own energy as you sit in this meditation time.
And then bring your awareness up to your heart,
To your throat,
And up to your third eye.
When we are rooted and grounded and our body is calm and peaceful,
We are able to access more in our third eye,
Our inner sight,
Our intuition,
Than when we are distracted and multitasking and busy.
So,
I invite you to take a moment as we focus here in our third eye.
Be curious.
Knowing the general agreed-upon structure of the chakra system and the collective definitions of the third eye,
What if you were to be in the energy of your third eye fresh,
New,
Curious,
Perhaps open to a whole different perspective?
With your feet grounded and your spine straight and your shoulders open,
What do you know to be true about your third eye chakra?
And trust what you receive.
You may come back to this meditation multiple times and see something different each time.
So,
In this moment,
Trust what you are noticing.
Does your third eye look like a tiny little peephole?
Is it a big,
Wide,
Open window?
I can hear the rain outside the window and it just feels like our third eyes are being rinsed with pure white light,
With clear,
Pure consciousness.
What if you could rinse off your third eye chakra?
Any resistance you've had,
Any doubt you have had in your intuition can just be washed away.
Just rinse off in this moment.
Washing all that is waste,
All that is fear and doubt down to your feet,
Through your roots into the earth.
And now there is more spaciousness in your third eye.
What do you notice?
If it is quiet,
That is beautiful.
A quiet third eye is open and listening,
Not filled with the noise of the outside world,
Of those who are telling you what to see and believe with your intuition.
A quiet third eye chakra would be listening,
Waiting for that intuition to clarify.
Your third eye might be showing you images,
Words.
You might just have a feeling of what you know.
Relax your muscles and trust yourself.
It is difficult in meditation,
Especially the way that I hold it in an energy field.
It is difficult to make it up.
The energy is revealing our own selves to us.
And so allow yourself to be surprised by your third eye.
For your mind,
I bring in a little of the astrology.
We just finished eclipse season,
A full moon eclipse in Virgo.
That was a detox,
A clearing of the old beliefs,
The old patterns,
The old routines and habits.
We are now at a new moon in Pisces.
Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac before a whole new cycle begins.
So we are setting an intention at a time of completion.
We are the day before the equinox with all of the planets in Aries saying,
Let's go,
Let's move,
Let's do.
We have one foot stepping out of the old,
The familiar,
The known,
To join the other foot that's already in the new,
That's already ready to take that next step forward.
It is almost as if our foot is suspended midair.
So just for this moment,
Plant that foot back down energetically.
One foot in the old,
One foot in the new.
Balance yourself before leaning,
Jumping forward into all of this Aries action,
Movement,
Beginnings.
With your one foot still in the old,
What wisdom are you bringing with you from this journey that we have been taking in so many different astrological cycles that are completing?
Don't overthink,
Just allow yourself to feel,
What am I taking with me from the journey I've had so far?
Perhaps it is wisdom,
Courage,
Compassion,
Forgiveness,
More understanding.
Perhaps the veil has completely been pulled down and now you see reality in a way you never have before.
We bring that clarity with us,
That eyes wide open energy with us into the new beginning.
Perhaps it is like a loss of innocence.
We can move forward from wisdom and still carry that innocence with us.
Allow yourself to receive whatever those last pieces are that want to come into your awareness.
And then visualize yourself when you are ready,
Picking that foot up and planting it in this new moon in Pisces energy.
Both feet firmly on the ground,
Rooted down into the earth,
Muscles strong and still at ease,
Relaxed.
Activate your third eye and if you were to see or understand or feel the direction that you are being called forward to next,
It could be a feeling,
It could be a whole roadmap,
It could be an ideal version of life that has been in the background until now when you are claiming this,
This is the life I am building,
Forming for myself,
For my family,
My community.
Relax your muscles and whatever it is that feels true to you,
Bring that into your third eye chakra.
And allow it to take on a little more context,
Complexity,
Structure,
Or form.
See the idea becoming more than just an idea.
Relax your muscles.
This is an embodied experience of visualization.
We are not doing it from fantasy,
We are doing it from grounded,
Embodied presence,
Deeply rooted in and held by the earth.
Relax your muscles and allow it to take on even more form,
Structure,
Nuance,
Hue,
Color,
Feel it in your body.
If an intention forms from that vision,
Beautiful.
If not,
The vision is the intention.
And as you feel ready,
Imagine you can send that intention from your third eye out into whatever you choose to describe it as.
I like to say the universe.
You might say reality,
Consciousness,
God,
Source,
The one,
Your guides.
Wherever you choose to release your intention,
Allow it to go directly from your third eye into the path of creation,
Manifestation.
And then relax your muscles and allow yourself to lean back,
To not try to follow the intention,
To allow it to create a life on its own,
An energy on its own.
And as you lean back,
Notice how your body feels.
Alive,
Perhaps excited,
Buzzing with energy,
Satisfied.
Use your breath to calm your body.
And then with your feet firmly planted on the ground,
Your spine straight,
Your shoulders open and your heart soft and happy,
Perhaps satisfied,
Anticipating the manifestation.
As you relax your system,
I want you to slowly open your eyes,
But just look at one thing in front of you.
So I'm looking at a smoky quartz crystal that I hold when I meditate.
I'm rubbing my fingers over it.
I'm wiggling my feet,
Wiggling my fingers,
And coming back into full presence.
Allowing my eyes to take in more of the room around me.
You may notice as you come back into full awareness that there's a shimmer or a little fuzziness as you focus your gaze.
It will sharpen and come back more into this external reality.
What is important to name,
As I do at the end of every meditation,
Is that both spaces are true.
What you see,
What you visualize inside of your own meditation space,
Your intuition,
Is just as true as what you see externally.
We are manifesting our reality from the way that we see and feel it inside.
And this time of meditation is such an important part of the process,
A bridge for you.
So thank you for meditating with me.
I encourage you to drink a big glass of water,
To focus your intentions at this new moon.
Perhaps write them down,
Release them,
Create a ritual for yourself.
And then come and join us in a live and share the journey together in community.
I send you so much love at this new moon.
