Hello and welcome to our community meditation space.
My name is Vivian Gerard and it is my delight to be guiding us in a meditation for the new moon in Taurus.
As we begin this time together,
I invite you to visualize that you are stepping live into this room,
The circle space with me,
Where I will flow through an unscripted,
In the moment,
Meditation that weaves in breath,
Presence,
And the current information about astrology.
There is a lot that is happening and when our mind has pieces of information,
It can weave that into the meditation time and help us harmonize the mind,
The body,
And the soul,
So that as we step out of this space,
We are clearer and more focused on how to work with the astrology and the current energy.
All right,
Let's go ahead and close your eyes and allow yourself to really come fully into this moment,
Wherever you have chosen to be physically for this meditation time.
Allow yourself to be fully there,
Fully here.
And as you do that,
Imagine you can see your own energy,
Your own life force,
Consciousness,
Soul,
Whatever word resonates for you,
Your own power.
You start to see that coming into you,
The physical form,
More than before.
Often,
Before we choose to meditate,
We have a lot going on in our minds,
The activity level around us may be loud or busy.
And so the choice to be physically still allows our energy,
Our consciousness to settle more fully into this moment,
Into this body.
And this often is the longest part of the meditation,
The hardest work.
It's the shift from the doing into being still,
Being fully present.
And so breath is a powerful support for that.
Imagine as you are breathing that you are pulling your energy in with your in-breath and sending it down through your body all the way down to your feet.
And then with your out-breath,
You release any resistance,
Release any toxicity.
Any part of you that doesn't want to be present,
You can run it through your body down to your feet and then you just choose to let that resistance go.
And you relax your muscles as you do that.
When we meditate,
We are inviting ourselves to be in a present,
Relaxed state,
Where we have harmony of mind,
Body,
Spirit.
It's not a forcing something to happen or making ourselves do whatever we think meditation is.
It's a gentle reminder that the most beautiful wisdom is always found within ourselves.
The most powerful healing and realignment happens inside of the quiet space of our own mind,
Our own body,
When our soul can come forward and whisper and guide us.
So if it feels a little floaty as your energy is coming into your body more than before,
Send your energy down to your feet and feel how as your awareness follows that,
As your visualization of your mind follows the energy moving through your body all the way down to your feet,
It becomes heavier inside of you.
You're more filled up with yourself than you were before you started meditating.
And so you relax your muscles.
Maybe lean back.
If you're sitting against a pillow or a couch or a chair,
You just lean back into the space and relax your muscles.
Maybe allow yourself to yawn or wiggle your jawbone a little bit.
Often our resistance is locked in at our jaw where we hold memories,
We hold stories,
We bike backwards.
Maybe we're yelling all the time and so our energy is exhausted in our jaw.
The jaw holds a lot.
When you yawn or cough or wiggle your jaw,
You're releasing stuck energy or tension.
It may annoy you at first to hear that or to hear me yawn.
There may be some resistance that comes up inside of you or annoyance,
Like why do we need to yawn?
It is a powerful way to move a lot of energy very quickly to invite more of your consciousness into your physical body and actually down into your body.
The jaw sometimes locks us in place and holds us in our headspace,
Holds us in our stories.
And our resistance shows up as annoyance.
We don't want to do the thing that actually we know might help us or support us or serve us to be more present.
So maybe just wiggle,
Wiggle your jaw a little bit.
Your ears might pop.
It's a frequency shift.
It's a releasing of energy.
When we have,
The word I'm seeing is like cotton wool,
When we've had stuffing in our ears energetically,
We haven't wanted to hear a certain message or we haven't wanted to let ideas come in,
Perhaps,
Because we know that then we might need to change something in our reality.
Or we might remember that there's something we want to do or need to do that we were avoiding.
Our minds are very,
Very powerful and also very good at keeping us in what is familiar,
What is known.
And so our minds will often keep us distracted or busy when our bodies intuitively are already saying there's something shifting,
There's something changing.
Our bodies know and feel that there is something that needs to be released or moved or understood.
And when our minds want us to stay in what is familiar or comfortable,
Our minds will keep us busy so that we don't make that change that we aren't sure what the result will be.
So all of these words I am pouring into this meditation are for your mind.
They're to help your mind relax and understand that the collective energy is changing.
The astrology is guiding us through a profound shift in consciousness.
It's an enormous shift.
It's so much change happening so rapidly that our mind isn't quite sure what to do with all of the change.
And so our mind can keep us busy,
Can keep us thinking,
Not sleeping.
Our mind can fill our calendars so our bodies are exhausted,
Depleted,
Our nervous systems are overwhelmed.
And it's all to try to keep us in what we know,
What is comfortable.
So take a pause,
Deepen into this moment with your body.
As you invite your awareness to go deeper from your head to your jawbone,
Perhaps down into your heart or your stomach.
As you invite your power,
Your awareness to go deeper in your body,
I will offer a couple nuggets of astrology for the mind to help it soothe and understand why things feel so different or chaotic.
For the past six months,
Mars has been in cancer,
Wanting us to explore our feelings and understand our emotions and learn how to navigate them better.
And so it's been very emotional.
Maybe in ways that our minds just cannot quite understand.
And this week we had a change.
Mars is now in Leo.
So we're moving from cancer being in our feelings,
Our stuff inside of ourselves,
To Leo,
Which is let's talk,
Express,
Show,
Let's be.
The lion,
Let's roar,
Let's be courageous,
Let's lead.
It's a very big shift internally.
We also just had Neptune move into Aries.
Neptune has been in Pisces,
Feeling,
Dreaming,
Creating,
And now Aries,
Let's do,
Let's bring it forward.
Let's explore new ideas in ways that we haven't for 14 years while we were in Pisces.
That's another big shift.
Can you feel how your mind is starting to understand why your body has been so tired?
Why the collective energy has been so frantic and tumultuous?
So breathe,
Relax your muscles,
Allow your mind to take some notes,
Feel into how it's okay to have resistance right now.
We understand why our system would be a bit overwhelmed.
Perhaps what will be helpful is to future pace our lives just a little bit to help our minds understand what is shifting next,
Where we are headed next.
In this moment of the new moon,
We have what's called a fixed T-square.
So if you picture a T,
Kind of like a cross,
And the planets are lined up in a way where everything is very rigid,
It's a moment of stillness,
Tension,
To strengthen us,
To clarify what is next,
To hold us.
It's the,
It's like the tension belt when you're doing exercises.
It adds extra resistance to strengthen the muscle.
In the sitting still,
In the tension,
It's uncomfortable.
We want to just change or run or do or anything so that we don't feel the pressure building.
Good job,
Good job.
Relax your muscles.
Allow yourself just to feel the immense strength that you already are.
The ability to be human at this time on our planet is extraordinary.
The fact that we are able to get up each day and manage our bodies,
Work at jobs,
Take care of other people,
Take care of ourselves,
We are extraordinary beings in this moment.
Our ability to be the infinite in the human embodiment is mind-boggling.
So relax,
Let yourself be in this moment understanding that something is strengthening,
Adding pressure so that it can be more.
You can be more than you have been before because of the tension of this current moment.
It's not the universe or your soul out to get you wanting to punish you.
It's not that.
It's a time of deep inner work,
Trusting ourselves,
Listening,
Discerning,
Clarifying.
When Neptune moved into Aries,
It opened up this space for new ideas,
New creativity,
New soul level dreams to come forward in our awareness.
We're going to marinate in that energy for the next month and May 24th,
Saturn will move into Aries also.
When Saturn moves into Aries,
There's action,
Building,
Creating,
Doing,
Bringing into form these beautiful ideas that are marinating with us for the next month.
It is a time for meditation,
For listening,
Creating,
Playing,
Dreaming with the awareness that we're going to do something with what's bubbling inside of us right now.
This resistance,
This moment of tension is with purpose.
It's for something to come out of us,
Through us,
From us in another month,
Maybe sooner,
But definitely in another month.
So relax your muscles,
Allow yourself to lean back.
What a moment in your journey.
What a moment in time for humanity.
It's very easy to rush through the moment,
To just default back to what feels comfortable.
Sitting in it is a very courageous move,
Choice,
A very courageous choice to sit in the unknown,
In the feelings,
In the potential energy without trying to immediately shape it into something.
Allowing it to move around us and almost like a shapeshifter to change form in different ways as we play with different ideas.
Not rushing to get to the conclusion immediately,
To have the final product ready in a day,
A week,
A month.
It's being formed inside of us.
The new idea,
The new relationship,
The new DNA,
The new health choices,
The new location we're going to move to,
All the options.
The new is bubbling under the surface.
And when we sit in our quiet space like this,
In circle as I hold it,
Knowing we're not alone,
We're all doing this together.
Every time we tap into meditation in this way,
We're tapping into a community who are all meditating together with intention,
With purpose.
To empower ourselves as the infinite in the human form for the highest and best good.
And that takes space,
It takes time,
It takes patience.
It takes a commitment to our own process,
Our own timing.
There's another layer of astrology that I weave in now for your mind.
Your body will already feel this one.
Saturn is conjunct the north node in Pisces.
It's okay if you don't know what the words necessarily mean.
The energy is a memory,
A memory inside of each of us.
And knowing that we already have this information,
Whatever is wanting to come to the surface.
Our soul speaks through this energy of this north node conjunction.
Our soul has information guidance for us.
It's bringing little markers,
Synchronicities,
Signposts,
Alignment,
Lyrics and music,
Conversations with friends,
Videos we see online.
There are pieces of information that our soul is bringing forward in our awareness,
Our consciousness.
To help guide this process we are going through of birthing something new.
It will be new in the way we express it to other people,
To the world.
But it is old and known and familiar inside of ourselves.
We're simply allowing space for it to come up and through.
So you relax your muscles.
You invite your mind to take notes,
To remember the structure,
The facts,
The details.
That will help you move through this time without unnecessary looping of the mind.
You invite your mind to support your body.
What does your body need at this time?
As memories are bubbling up through us,
How do we soothe the nervous system?
Maybe it's more meditation time,
More sleep,
More water to hydrate our body,
More walking,
More sunshine,
More breathing,
More deep breathing.
You will know.
And you invite your mind to take notes of what your body will need.
And then build that into the schedule,
Build that into the plan for the day,
The week,
The month.
The last nugget of astrology for our meditation is the new moon in Taurus.
This is the reason you came to this meditation.
The new moon is a time to set clear intentions.
Taurus is earth groundedness in our body,
Resourced,
Felt,
Powerful,
Embodied.
Can you see how your mind needed all of those other pieces of information to arrive at this moment to be able to set clear intentions?
The intentions for a new moon in Taurus,
I believe,
Are about embodied intentions,
Working with the body and the mind.
So from this information that you have clarified in our meditation time,
Set the intentions that serve your mind,
Your body,
Your soul as a unit.
What does your body need?
Trust that,
Honor that for the next lunar cycle.
What does your mind need?
Maybe it's more information,
More astrology.
Trust that,
Set your intentions and honor them for the next lunar cycle.
And then what does your soul desire?
How do you honor and celebrate the infinite within you at this new moon and for the next month?
How do you align with the dream of Neptune,
With the beauty of the infinite that chose to have a dense human experience?
How do you continue touching back in with the infinite over the next month?
Set the intentions now.
There may be a new hobby that wants to come through or a new arts and crafts or creative expression.
Maybe you want to get your hands in the dirt and put on beautiful music or listen to the trees and the wind.
Allow your whole system to show you what most serves and bring that into your schedule.
Relaxing your muscles one more time.
Releasing any resistance,
Any toxicity,
Any doubt all the way down through your body to your feet,
Into the earth.
Noticing if there's any last adjustments to make inside of your whole system as we start to bring the meditation to a close.
You can,
With your eyes still closed,
You can wiggle your feet,
Wiggle your fingers.
Allow energy to start to move and shift as you kind of shake yourself gently back into this present moment fully.
As you open your eyes,
You can stretch your shoulders,
Your back.
You can take in more of the room around you.
As you do that,
Allow your mind to weave together what you see and feel and experience inside of yourself in meditation time with this external reality that is so defined and structured.
Allow the two to play and harmonize together because both are true.
And when your meditation time starts to guide your physical reality,
You change your reality and you have the power to do that.
And in meditation,
We are reminded of that power.
So nourish yourself with a big glass of water,
Take some notes in your journal,
And then come share with us in our lives that we do here on Insight Timer.
