Continue breathing slowly and deeply.
Visualize yourself sitting in a lotus position with your legs crossed and your back straight.
Feel your connection to the earth below you through your root and the heavens above you through your crown.
Feel the energies cycling through you with each breath you take.
Spread your awareness out from your physical body to your aura,
Extending about two feet from your body in all directions.
Fill yourself up with the mingling of earth and star energy and let it pour out of you like a fountain,
Filling up your aura and washing all dark spots and negativity back to the earth to be recycled.
If you could view yourself from a distance and see your aura,
It would be shaped like an egg filled with brightly swirling colors.
You look up and see a silver cord descending from the heavens.
You know that this cord connects you to the divine source.
With your mind,
Feel this flexible cord wrap around and around your aura egg,
First in one direction and then another.
As the cord touches your aura,
It solidifies,
Forming an unbreakable shell of protection around you.
The cord wraps from top to bottom horizontally,
Then vertically,
Then diagonally in one continuous stream.
Each layer builds upon the last,
Creating intricate patterns and designs,
More beautiful than any Fabergé egg.
The cord twists and bends,
Creating protection symbols all around you.
The outer surface of your shell sends any negativity to be grounded in the earth below you.
Though it is unbreakable,
It is permeable,
Allowing you to slough off what no longer serves your highest good and allowing the positive energy that you choose to enter in.
Your connection to earth below and the heavens above is strong and sure.
A feeling of profound peace and security fills your entire being.
This shield is always available to you,
Wherever you are.
It weighs nothing and takes very little energy from you to maintain,
Though you may wish to come back and refresh it regularly.
