Ah,

The wonders of life poetry.

Ay,

My kin,

The wonders of being alive.

To open the breath to the living miracle of the winds.

To feel the rhythm of the heart pulsing through the waters of life.

To stand upon earth and stone while witnessing the sky.

As the fires burn the forest of our sorrow and comfort.

To see the wonders and terrors of others.

As birds chirp and stars glisten.

To peer through the fear and yet emanate love into dark hearts.

To the pain,

Sorrow and hate.

For the dark cloud storms of the mind that we've become.

Will melt the ice of glaciers old.

Where held memories of all that we've done shall come crashing down.

What a gift.

So I'll be present here in the midst of the storm while the thunder roars.

I'll smile at the wonder of it all.

To even be here alive and witnessing while I sip water and eat the foods of farms unknown.

Uncounted die while endless do rise.

In uneven tapestries of love and hate.

The poor and the wealthy.

It'll all dissolve one day into the blink of an eye.

So here in the storm of it all.

I'll spread joy to hate and division.

For they are all the same children of life.

Discovering what it means to be alive in this gift.

They forgot the blessings they got.

To glance at the stars in others hearts.

To let go of old scripts and power trips.

And see the beloved before you.

In every spark of lost hearts.
