Bushveld Thunderstorm

Recording of a typical late afternoon thunderstorm in mid-summer in the Waterberg area of South Africa. This one made a lot of noise but did not bring a lot of rain. This area of Africa will receive most of its rainfall in summer in the form of short violent thunderstorms typically in the late afternoon or early evening.
