It is quiet and you are surrounded by nature.
The temple windows look out into a pond covered in pink water lilies and fireflies.
The fading light is soft,
Filtered by the intricate mosaics carved into the temple's walls.
You feel as though you have the entire world to yourself.
You breathe deeply in and out.
You experience golden light flowing in and out of your heart as you breathe.
Your shoulders relax.
All stress and tension fade away.
Each breath brings more and more peace into your soul.
You begin your prayer of gratitude.
Beautiful heart,
I thank you for my breath.
I thank you for the clean air that sustains me.
I thank you for my ability to breathe and speak and sing and whisper.
Beautiful heart,
I thank you for my ability to love and be loved.
I thank you for the wonderful people in my life that love me.

The sun rises and the sun sets.

Beautiful hands,

For the hands you've held.
For the work you've done.
For the things you create.
For the words you have written.
To touch the cool water.
To feel the soft fur of a beloved pet.
To feel the petals of a flower in my garden.
Beautiful hands,

Beautiful spirit,
I thank you for being with me always.
For reminding me of who I am when life is hard.
For shining a light within me and guiding me on my way.
For every flower,
For every tree,
For every drop of rain,
