This gentle practice is a love letter for couples. Feelings such as jealousy, busyness, distractions, and complacency, can distance us from remembering to slow down and share the feelings and messages that are so important. Settle into a quiet space with your partner, and relax into this tender and emotionally intimate experience.

Welcome to this guided meditation.

My name is Angela,

And today I will be walking with you and your partner through an intimate love experience.

This process is about taking in positive affirmations from one another as you're closing your eyes and relaxing into this quiet space.

Allow yourself to get comfortable,

Ideally laying down next to each other,

Letting yourselves quiet your minds for a moment,

And focusing on your breath as we get ready to begin.

Slowly taking in a breath,

Breathing in relaxation,

Holding it for three,

One,

Two,

Three,

And exhaling tension.

And again,

With your partner by your side,

Letting yourself hear their breath,

Breathing in in unison,

Relaxation,

Holding it for three,

One,

Two,

Three,

And exhaling in unison.

Let your breath rise and fall naturally,

And allowing yourself to notice the physical sensations you're feeling as you're laying next to your partner,

And you're about to really listen with curiosity to my guidance.

Just paying attention,

Doing a body scan,

Scanning throughout your body any movement,

Sensations,

Tension,

Anything at all that you'd notice,

And just building that awareness for the moment,

Just seeing where your body's at in this moment,

Laying next to your partner,

And just letting it be,

Trying your best to be fidget-free,

And redirecting your attention to your breath,

Using my voice in this moment to help communicate words of love to your partner,

Words of love to your partner.

This is starting or continuing that intimate and vulnerable conversation that's so necessary in this connection with this special person next to you.

It's so often that we get busy with our lives,

With all of our responsibilities,

That sometimes we haven't stopped to really nurture this part of our connection and take care of expressing these words of love and affirmation with this very special person right here.

I love you.

I am so grateful for you.

You are a wonderful friend.

You look beautiful.

I love being around you.

I love your smile.

I love your smile.

Thank you for helping me when things are tough.

I am so honored to be with you.

I am so honored to be with you.

Thank you for accepting me as I am.

Thank you for thinking of me.

You are a good person.

You feel like home to me.

Thank you for believing in me.

Thank you for believing in me.

Thank you for being here in this very moment with me.

Thank you for being here with me.

Keeping your eyes closed,

Let yourself slow those thoughts down and tuning in to your body,

Using your breath as guidance,

Noticing what you're feeling in this moment next to your partner.

As you're taking in and sharing these messages with your partner,

As you're connecting with your partner in this new way,

As you're expressing love in this new way,

Letting yourself create this beautiful and special memory with your partner,

Making a commitment to one another in this moment to continue to take care of the special bond of love to nurture it,

To slow down enough to touch base and connect,

To slow down enough to express this unique and special love that you have for one another,

That regardless of tension and arguments and frustrations and sadness and fears and jealousy,

That you're able to find this space of groundedness,

This strong bond that you can both come back to and reconnect,

Thinking of what you're feeling right now noticing your thoughts,

Pulling your attention back to your breath as we gently close this meditation,

Taking in one more deep breath and exhaling out.

And exhaling out.

Thank you for listening.
