On February 15, Saturn will enter Aries for the next 2 years. What this means is that those born roughly around 1996-1999 will experience their first Saturn return, those born roughly around 1967-1969 are experiencing their second Saturn return. Collectively, we may feel the need to take freedom and independence more seriously and question the structures and rules in place that strip us of that freedom. Saturn also rules time, we may see our personal time as precious and protect it through boundaries that we set with other people in our personal and work lives.

Hello,

My name is Ashley and today I'll be diving into the astrology of 2026 and offering wellness practices to balance the planetary shifts and transits.

Another major change that we will experience on February 15th,

2026 is the planet Saturn will move into Aries for the next two years.

Saturn is the planet of boundaries,

Self-discipline,

Restriction,

Time,

Maturity.

I always like to remember this because Saturn has its rings.

Those rings almost contain Saturn and give it that structure and boundaries so that the core of the planet doesn't go anywhere.

The rings keep it structured.

So Saturn first entered Aries on May 24th,

2025.

It retrograded back into Pisces on September 1st,

2025.

And on November 27th,

2025,

Saturn started to move forward again towards the sign of Aries.

And on February 15th is where it will finally re-enter the territory of Aries again.

What this means is that those born roughly around 1996 to 1999 will experience their first Saturn return.

Those born roughly around 1967 to 1969 are experiencing their second Saturn return.

If you are one of those people going through or approaching your Saturn return,

I have a meditation for your Saturn return if you'd like to practice that and help you ground through this season of your life.

Collectively with Saturn in Aries,

We may feel the need to take freedom,

Independence more seriously and question the structures and rules in place that strip us of that freedom.

I could see this as more solopreneurs emerging,

Small businesses,

And an awakening to challenge corporate structures.

Saturn also rules time.

So I also get the sense that we may value how we are individually utilizing our time towards our greater ambitions or even feeling like our personal time is more precious to us and protecting it through more boundaries we set with other people in our personal and work lives.

Again,

That Saturnian theme of boundaries is going to impart this essence and energy to us when it enters Aries and Aries is the sign of independence,

Of the self,

Of putting yourself first.

So combining those two themes,

I see this as adding in more structure to put ourselves first.

How Saturn moves is that it takes about 29 years to transit through all 12 zodiac signs,

Which is why everyone's first Saturn return occurs around the ages of 27 to 30.

So if Saturn spends roughly 2.

5 years in each sign,

There are 12 signs total,

12 x 2.

5 equals 30 years.

The last time Saturn was in Aries was 1996.

Wellness practices to balance the energy that we'll collectively feel when Saturn is in Aries is the 5 second rule.

This is inspired by a concept from Mel Robbins that involves taking 5 seconds to count down before you act.

Since we are entering a lot of Aries energy,

We may feel impulsive and want to spring into action before we've considered all the moving parts.

So think about Aries being the start of spring as well.

It has that headstrong warrior energy because Aries is a season when the seedlings that have rested all winter finally start to emerge,

The miracle of life starts to come back,

Flowers start to blossom again.

It's this spring into action.

Aries starts spring equinox.

So back to this 5 second rule,

Using it as a pause before acting,

Reacting,

Or responding.

Just counting down from 5 before you spring into your next action.

We may feel this frenetic energy to want to be moving all the time.

But can we slow down and use this 5 second rule just to count down from 5?

And notice how your body feels after the 5 seconds.

And if the impulse passes or is still nudging you in that direction,

And then that's how you know it's the right time to act on it.

Thank you for listening to this quick little chat of what Saturn and Aries means.

I hope you found it informational,

Enlightening,

And that you are able to integrate this information in this season of your life.
