This guided meditation invites you to practise kindness towards yourself, planting gentle seeds that can grow and support you over time. Through simple reflections and imagery, you are encouraged to offer yourself care and understanding, just as you might to someone you love. Even small moments of self-kindness can take root beneath the surface, shaping how you relate to yourself and the world. This meditation offers a calm space to slow down, soften self-criticism, and nurture compassion, trusting in the quiet, ongoing growth of these seeds.

Meditation 8,

Kindness to self using imagery.

Imagine a warm sun,

Perhaps at the end of a hot summer's day,

When the sun is just above the horizon.

Perhaps it's a golden color or maybe a deep red.

And it's radiating warmth.

Don't worry if you can't see it clearly,

It's okay,

Just get a sense of it being there.

Imagine the sun is in your heart.

Again,

You don't need to see it there,

Just a feeling for it.

Imagine the soft,

Warm rays of light that are radiating from it,

Filling your whole body with warmth,

With the light.

And imagine this warm light is kindness filling your whole body.

For a few minutes,

Be with your own imagery,

Whatever feels kind to you right now.

When you're ready,

Gently opening your eyes,

Bringing yourself back to the room,

Back to your day,

With kindness in your heart.
