The purpose of today's meditation is to connect to the water element.
Esoterically,
Water represents the realm of emotions and intuition.
It is known for its cleansing and purification properties associated with rebirth or renewal.
Many indigenous traditions believe that water holds within it wisdom,
Memory,
Stories,
And secrets.
Today we will connect with the water as a cleansing process,
But also to receive any downloads that might be available for you at this time.
So when you're ready,
Go ahead and get into a comfortable position,
Seated or lying down,
And close your eyes.
Start to observe what's going on inside of you in this moment,
And let's take a couple of deep breaths together with the intention of allowing ourselves to relax.
So empty all of the air that's currently in your lungs,
And when you're ready,
Draw in a deep,
Slow inhale,
Filling all the way up and holding at the top,
And when you're ready,
Slowly exhaling.
Once you're empty,
Doing that again,
Taking a really slow,
Nice inhale,
Filling up the stomach and the chest,
And holding once you're all the way full,
And releasing when you're ready,
Nice and slow,
And one final time,
Taking a slow inhale,
Filling all the way up,
And releasing whenever you're ready.
Good.
Now returning to a normal breathing pattern,
And keeping your focus and your attention inward.
As you let yourself relax,
Begin to imagine,
Sense,
Or feel a beautiful place in nature,
A place where water is the prominent element.
Maybe this is a beach with a vast ocean or lake.
Maybe it's a majestic forest with a beautiful creek or river running through it.
Maybe it's a vibrant field with a beautiful pond,
Or maybe it's some place on a different planet where the sky is purple,
The water is pink,
And the grass is blue.
Allow your imagination to run wild with limitless possibility as you allow a beautiful,
Sacred space in nature to surround you,
Encompass you,
To come into your mind's eye.
And when you get here,
Start to notice the visceral experience of being in this space.
What sounds do you hear here?
What does the ground feel like beneath your feet?
What's going on with the sky and the temperature of this place?
Is it a clear,
Sunny day?
Are there clouds?
Is it raining,
Bringing in more of that sacred water element?
Simply noticing and tuning in.
What sounds do you hear around you?
What kind of flora and fauna might be present here,
Plants and animals?
As you notice what it's like in this beautiful,
Sacred,
Sanctuary type of place,
Allow yourself to relax even deeper,
Bringing your attention to that beautiful water element.
And notice,
What is that water doing?
Is it flowing slowly,
Quickly?
Is it completely still?
If you go over to that water,
What do you notice about it?
Can you see your reflection back at you?
Do you see the bottom of the earth beneath that water,
Or is that water deep?
Just making friends with that beautiful water,
Accepting her however she shows up today.
Into her,
And when you're ready,
Asking to enter her.
Maybe dipping your toes in first.
Dipping your toes in first.
Noticing the temperature of the water as you inch your way in until you are fully submerged.
As you submerge yourself in this divine water element,
Notice how it feels in your body to have this water running over you,
Around you,
Through you,
Energetically cleansing every cell,
Every atom of your being,
Of your physical body and your aura.
As you remain submerged in this beautiful water,
Allowing yourself to not only be cleansed,
But if it's available,
Also receiving any downloads,
Any wisdom that is ready to be shown to you.
I'll be quiet for a few minutes as you do this now.
You're welcome to stay in this beautiful water and in this beautiful,
Relaxed space as long as you want to,
Remembering that you can always return here at any point.
But when you're ready,
Gathering all of the beautiful wisdom that you may have experienced during this session today,
And offering a deep gesture of love and gratitude to the water spirit,
To this divine sanctuary that you are in,
To your own spirit for showing you the way to get to this moment right now.
