A very big aloha.
My name is Reverend Cindy Palos.
And I wanted to talk about inspiration.
Being in spirit and inspiration comes in many,
Many ways.
I think it comes to a lot of what you're attuned to,
You know,
Depending on whether you're attuned to nature as I am and whether you're attuned to inspiration coming from science,
You know,
Inspiration coming from discoveries.
There's so many ways you can be inspired.
And be in that spirit and that I really believe is done by a higher greater force that we are all part of this amazing rainbow.
Of energy with so many different colors that blend so beautifully throughout.
The sky,
You know,
We are rainbows of light.
With all kinds of gifts to give to the world.
And that gift comes with inspiration.
The gift comes with a thought.
The gift comes with a thought.
Maybe,
Or perhaps,
Or oh my,
You know,
Something that touches you deep within your heart and soul.
And then that gift comes to that person.
Way of bringing it,
Bringing that energy of creation forth.
And as it does that,
It goes through another stage that requires a lot of dedication.
And perseverance to make it happen.
You know,
And then after that.
Creation.
And after it's created than the way to further it.
To make it available to people on the next stage,
Right?
So there's many stages.
Just like stages of life,
Stages anyone has.
Growing up,
There's so many stages in fully developing what is being created.
And that takes a lot of perseverance and belief in what you're doing.
And strength to continue it.
There's many creative ways that also can take a lot of money and then that takes creative ways to get that money and use that money and create what you wish to create.
And so it takes on a life of its own after a while.
I mean,
I'm thinking of how many times I've written in pieces for music or spoken word to make an album.
And I start in one way,
But then it begins to evolve and take on its own form.
And if I'm working with someone else,
As I often do,
Then it takes on that energy.
And then once it's done,
It takes on the energy of how people interpret it and use it and share it.
I think this gift of creation is unbelievably powerful and a great way to live our lives.
That gift of inspiration creating through us is a force at work that truly can change us and others around us and the way we live our lives and the way they live their lives.
You become a tool for that inspiration.
And that inspiration can actually teach you so much.
You can learn so much as you wish to.
Further what you are given in this gift of creation.
And it's a beautiful way of having that journey continue.
The way you share it,
The way you use it,
The way we can.
Come together in the gift of inspiration.
It's truly something that I have always turned to.
And it takes a certain openness,
And it takes a perseverance that furthers,
And it takes being not judgmental,
But being able to perceive.
The best way.
Use the gifts that you are given,
Right?
To be able to develop those gifts that you are given.
And so that's a whole process in itself as well.
But the bottom line is being open.
And believing.
And being able to use that gift of inspiration to come to you to use in your life.
Now,
How that comes is many ways,
But I always do find that going into meditation and going to that place of connection deep within,
To that soul source.
Always opens that door.
I always find something there.
Now,
I don't always know what exactly it is.
But I'll tell you one thing after doing this for most of my life,
For many,
Many years.
That even if you don't and can't define what it is,
If you just trust in the process,
Maybe writing down one or two words or starting with just a little bit,
Something happens where it just continues to flow through you.
I write a poem every day after I meditate.
A lot of times I have no idea what I'm going to write.
And there's even times I'm thinking,
Well,
I really have nothing to write.
But then I start,
And then something comes.
And that's that trust you learn in trusting that process,
That something will come.
That something will flow through you.
So I encourage you.
To be open to that process,
Even if you don't know exactly how or the way or what.
Just to go ahead and to write something down and see what happens.
See how that process flows through you.
You're fine.
That it teaches you so very much.
It's such a wonderful gift and if you start sharing it.
Then it opens up,
You'll see another gift of maybe making connections with other people who go,
Oh yeah,
I recognize that,
I realize that,
I like that.
Or,
You know,
Feedback of some other sort.
But that was really what I wanted to talk to you about,
Is trusting in that gift of inspiration.
And using that gift in your life in the way that it will use you.
And trusting in that process of the gift of inspiration.
And I bow deeply to you in gratitude.
