Are you ready to meditate with Cori?
Climb up into your bed and get super,
Super comfortable.
Make sure that everything is just right in your room,
The lights are just right,
You're wearing your cosy,
Comfy pyjamas,
And all is well in the world so that you can relax your body and let go of your busy,
Busy day.
Tucker and Leo were hanging out at their house with Heidi,
Cherry and Vea.
They'd just finished a cat jigsaw puzzle.
I went,
Gee,
I love it when we finish.
I love it.
I love to just look at the picture.
It's like all of that work,
All of those tiny little pieces.
And then when they're on the page and they're on the table in front of you,
You're like,
Wow,
I did that.
I did it.
Tucker said,
Don't get so cocky.
I think you put three pieces in.
Oh,
Said Cherry.
I did not.
I put at least three quarters of this jigsaw puzzle together.
Leo raised an eyebrow and looked at Heidi and Heidi just went.
She shook her head quietly as if to say,
Don't even bother.
Leo knew that Cherry had not done three quarters of the jigsaw.
In fact,
Cherry was terrible at jigsaws.
But what do you say?
Cherry said,
Right then.
So what we're going to do now?
Vea said,
Well,
I do have three new princess dresses and I happen to bring them in my very special travel bag.
If you guys would like,
I could try them on for you and do like a princess fashion show.
Tucker said,
Oh,
That sounds nice.
Yeah,
I'd like that.
Leo said,
Yeah,
That's that sounds nice.
Let's do that.
Cherry said,
Yeah,
Let's do it.
I love your princess dresses.
You always look so princessy.
All right,
Then.
Oh,
Wait,
No,
Wait,
Wait,
Wait.
Tucker,
Tucker,
Get some popcorn.
Tucker said,
Oh,
Good idea.
He ran in the kitchen to make a bowl of popcorn.
And then when he came back,
Vea entered the room.
All fancy and dressed in her first outfit.
Wow,
Said Cherry,
OMG,
You look so princessy.
Vea had on a bright satin purple dress.
All silky it was and puffy,
Puffy on the sleeves,
Puffy around the neck,
Puffy around the bottom.
She definitely looked very puffy.
It was beautiful.
Everybody sat around and ate popcorn while Vea acted as if she was walking down a catwalk for everyone to see,
Just like a beautiful fashion model.
Her next dress was black.
Very unlike Vea.
But the contrast of her white fur with the black,
Shiny,
Glittery material was so,
So pretty.
The third and final princess dress was slate grey and it had the longest trail at the back.
Oh,
My gosh,
She looked divine.
It was like a wedding dress.
She had a veil that was slate grey and the long slate grey trail.
Oh,
It was so pretty.
When Vea had put her regular clothes back on,
She came into the room and ate some popcorn and said,
So what should we do now?
Tooka said,
Well,
We haven't,
We haven't been human for a while.
Cherry said,
Oh,
Yeah,
That'd be so much fun.
Let's do it.
Let's do it.
Tooka went on to the back garden.
He went over to the Buddha statue and started to dig up his magical stone.
He found the stone pretty easily.
And then when he pulled it out of the ground,
He rubbed off all the dirt and held it up to the sun.
The sun automatically started to activate the magic.
It made the opal white stone look brighter and brighter.
And then the golden veins that ran through the stone started to get really,
Really gold and light up like twinkle,
Twinkle lights.
And then his angel appeared,
Flying in the sky just like she always was.
She smiled down at him and said,
You get one wish,
Just one wish.
Tooka looked up at his angel and said,
You know what we want?
We want to be human.
Pleasey,
Pleasey,
Please.
Human,
Please.
Tooka turned around and found himself looking at the back of a very different building.
It wasn't his house.
It was a very grand,
Big building.
It looked like some kind of fancy estate.
He rubbed his eyes.
And when he went up to rub his eyes,
He realized he had glasses on.
And he pushed them off his eyes.
They fell on the ground and he looked down and thought,
I don't wear glasses.
But then he couldn't see anything.
He reached down and picked up the glasses and put them back on.
And yes,
For sure,
He was staring at a very grand,
Big building.
It had ivy growing up the brick walls of the house.
Many,
Many windows indicating that there was many,
Many rooms in this place.
And a big,
White,
Grand door.
Like that was the entrance.
Tooka just followed his feet and started to walk towards the door.
At this point,
He was very confused.
But,
You know,
He was just going with it.
Like,
What?
Where?
Where?
Where am I?
When Tooka opened the door,
He walked inside and there was a big,
Giant entrance.
There was a chandelier hanging.
A giant,
Big chandelier.
And then there were two staircases that split.
One on one side of the entrance and one on the other that joined at the top.
As he looked up,
He saw many doors as if there were many rooms up there.
And then,
Over to his right,
There was a big area with round tables.
At least 20 of them.
With a lot of aged people.
Aged as in grey hair and quite a few wrinkles.
Tooka instantly spotted a table where he recognised his friends,
Believe it or not.
Leo was this old guy with short,
Grey,
Military-cut hair.
He also was wearing glasses.
They were black-rimmed and he looked very smart and kind of chic.
Like a cool old guy.
He had on a polo t-shirt and some cocky pants.
And what looked like sketches.
And at that point,
Tooka looked down at his own clothes.
He was wearing sketches.
Sketches?
Sketches are old people's shoes.
He looked up at all the walls,
Trying to find some kind of mirror.
Something where he could see himself.
And he found a mirror.
He rushed over to it really fast.
Oh no,
He said.
His black hair was grey.
And he had a lot of smiley wrinkle faces.
Like when you smile too much when you're younger.
Which made sense to him because he did smile a lot.
He had wrinkles around his eyes.
And his eyes looked old.
And his little nose and his face.
And he had wrinkles under his neck.
He was wearing a grey tweed jacket.
And a shirt with little checks on underneath it.
And his sketches!
OMG!
They were very comfortable though.
He had to admit.
These are very comfortable.
I can see why lots of older people wear sketches.
He was rolling on his toes in them.
Feeling them going back and forward.
Then he remembered his friends.
And he ran to the table.
Cherry said.
OMG!
Tucker!
You look so handsome!
Cherry's red hair was no longer red.
It was like this reddish,
Pale,
Blondish grey.
Vea was completely white.
Heidi had darkish grey hair.
Everybody around the room was wearing spectacles.
Yep.
Every single one of them.
OMG!
I can't see anything without these blooming things.
Cherry said.
As she took them off to clean them.
What happened?
Where are we?
What are we doing?
I don't like being old.
My pants are really high up underneath my boobs.
It feels very strange.
Vea started laughing next to Cherry.
My pants are doing that too.
Heidi said.
Yep,
So are mine.
I think it must be,
You know,
The older people's outfits.
Cherry went.
OMG!
OMG!
Oh no!
She was messing around with her mouth.
And then all of a sudden.
She spat out a false teeth.
They landed on the table.
In the middle of the card game that they were all playing.
That's why they needed their glasses.
Because they were playing cards.
Leo looked at the teeth.
And moved his mouth around.
And spat out his own false teeth.
He looked devastated.
I don't have my own teeth anymore.
Cherry said.
Oh,
It feels so funny with that teeth.
She was just gummy.
She was laughing all gummy.
Tucker thought it was the funniest thing ever.
And he rolled over laughing.
And then he said.
Oh,
I think I just tooted.
Like he couldn't control his own bottom.
He was tooting away.
Cherry was laughing because she was all gums.
Oh,
I think I like not having any teeth.
It feels good.
Leo looked absolutely devastated.
Devastated.
He quickly picked up his false teeth.
And put them back in his mouth.
I wonder if you can chew meat.
When you've got no teeth.
Said Cherry.
She just thought it was the funniest thing in the world.
Heidi did something with her teeth.
And realised she had her own teeth still.
And so did Faye.
Tucker said.
If I have false teeth,
That's it.
I'm ending it now.
Tucker wobbled his teeth around.
They were his own teeth.
Leo said.
How come you get to have your own teeth.
And mine are false?
Tucker said.
Well,
I think it's probably because I'm more handsome than you.
Leo said.
Never.
Half of the old ladies in this room are already asking for my number.
Tucker said.
No way.
Leo said.
Yep.
Heidi said.
Yep.
Wherever you were,
Where you were at.
Leo got asked to play bingo.
He got asked to go for a walk.
He got asked to do a pottery class.
He's set.
He's got lots of things to do.
Leo just blushed.
Cherry said.
I really don't like these pants.
Like they're sat right under my boobs.
And it makes you have a sweaty patch.
Heidi started laughing again.
Cherry said.
What are we going to do?
Now we're old.
Is this what we do?
We play cards.
Tucker sat down,
Picked up his cards and said.
Oh,
I wouldn't mind playing cards,
Actually.
Should we make it more interesting?
Let's bet on it.
Everybody felt in their pockets.
Nobody had money.
Cherry had a few buttons in her pocket.
She put them on the table.
And one of those things that you put on your fingers.
So that you don't prick yourself when you're sewing.
A thimble.
That's it.
She had one of those in her pocket.
OMG.
Is this what it's like to be old?
I'm so boring.
But I will bet you a button.
Tucker had a tissue in his pocket.
And a rock from outside.
As if he'd collected it at some point.
I'll bet you a rock,
He said.
Everybody had silly things in their pockets.
Leo had a bubble gum.
An old person's mint.
You know how they always have mints.
An old person's mint.
And one of those things that you shove up your nose when you can't breathe.
Like a Vicks stick.
That opens up your sinuses.
These guys were so old.
Aww.
He was really cute actually.
Can you imagine him?
Being old with no teeth.
And all wrinkly.
Wearing sketches.
Every one of them.
All different coloured sketches by the way.
Leo said,
Cherry can you please put your teeth back in?
Cherry said,
No I don't want to.
I like not having any teeth.
It feels very roomy.
Yeah.
The kids heard a big bell.
Like a big dung kind of bell.
What's that?
Said Cherry.
All of the old people started to shuffle to the other side of the building.
It's dinner time.
OMG I'm starving said Cherry.
Oh I'm really excited now.
I wonder if we get pudding.
You know because I haven't got any teeth.
Oh my gosh it was so funny guys.
They had sandwiches.
So Cherry had to put her teeth back in to chew.
She realised she couldn't chew without teeth.
But it was a good try.
She just mushed it,
And mushed it,
And mushed it with her gums.
And it was not breaking up.
It was going to take her forever to eat her sandwich.
So she put her teeth back in.
But then they did have pudding.
And she started laughing and said,
See I knew they had pudding.
Everybody thought that was really funny while they were eating their pudding.
And they had a cup of tea.
And a biscuit.
Which is like a cookie.
Then the funniest thing ever happened.
They all got so tired.
Oh I think I need a nap said Veya.
Leo said,
Yeah definitely me too.
Is it nap time?
Tucker said,
Oh my gosh we have naps.
Cherry said,
Oh I do like a good nap.
And then they all went to their own little rooms.
As if they knew exactly where they lived.
To take an afternoon nap.
A Joan Collins.
As one of the old people called it in there.
Just a five,
Ten minute nap.
You know,
Just to recharge.
They had the best naps ever.
Felt good to have a nap when you're old.
It's very restorative.
Good for your bones.
And then when they woke up.
They were all back at Tucker and Leo's house in the kitchen.
They all looked at each other.
Back as cats and dogs.
And they all laughed.
A lot.
OMG that was the bestest ever.
She said.
I want to be an old person every time we become human.
That was so cool.
It really was.
Said Leo.
Very interesting.

Great job Cory! I have a question so are you a member of the LGBTQ community because I am I am the B and I have a little bit of the T sometimes but can you make one about where Heidi, Cherry, Vaya, Tucker, and Leo go to the pride thing and they celebrate pride month and then Heidi admits that she’s queer and she had never told them until now. Hii! I have some things I'd like to say. Cory there's this show I watch it's really funny but I would never recommend it for kids in the age range of 1-12 it's 13+ at least but I love it! It's called Hazbin Hotel my favorite character is Angel Dust. Also in one of the meditations I put a comment and I made it like 2 months ago and you still didn't reply 😪. I think I’m literally the definition of an old person -sew -knit -call people who are younger than me “sweetie” -have buttons in my purse -forget things And I love pudding! That was SO FUNNY!!! I envisioned them when they were drinking their tea that their teeth we’re going to fall in the tea! 🤣 I envision my sister as the one grandma who dresses up crazy and has 50 cats.
