Busy day.

Heidi,

Cherry and Vea,

Along with Sasha,

Sasha was in town,

Poe and Mr.

Kitty,

Had all gone over to hang out at Tucker and Leo's house.

They were all sat round the kitchen island,

Just catching up.

Sasha was sat next to Leo,

Telling him all about what she'd been up to for the last few months.

She was in town for a week.

They were very excited about it.

Poe was sat next to Heidi,

Reading her his latest poem.

A man had one leg,

Just the one leg,

Until he grew another leg.

How did he grow his leg?

In potting soil.

Heidi said,

Hmm,

Yeah,

That's quite deep.

Inside she wanted to laugh.

She thought it was funny,

But she didn't.

She just smiled at Poe and said,

With a smile on her face.

And Vea was swirling around next to where Mr.

Kitty was sat,

Showing him her new,

Latest,

Purple princess dress.

This one was so fancy.

It had tiny little bells on the bottom of the dress,

So when she spun around,

It made little bell-like tinkle sounds.

It was so cute.

He was just sat smiling at her,

Telling her how pretty it was and how pretty she was.

She was blushing.

Tucker was sat next to Cherry,

And they were talking about how bored they were.

They'd been playing a card game together.

Cherry won.

Tucker wasn't impressed.

I think we need to go get my stone and go on an adventure.

Let's go find out what we can do,

Since we're all together.

No one was really paying attention to Tucker.

They were all in their own little worlds.

Cherry was,

Though.

Cherry said,

OMG,

Yeah,

Do you mind if I come?

Because I've never seen your angel.

I'd like to see what she looks like.

Tucker said,

I think that'll be alright.

I mean,

I don't think she'd be too upset with that.

We'll see.

Tucker and Cherry went outside.

Tucker said,

I keep her over here just in case you ever need her.

He started to dig next to the Buddha statue.

It didn't take him very long because the stone wasn't that deep.

And then he pulled out the white stone with the golden veins running through it.

He brushed all of the dirt off it and held it up to the sunlight.

Cherry stood real close to him.

Oh,

Isn't it fancy?

Oh,

It's a lovely stone.

It's so pretty.

Tucker said,

Watch,

Watch,

Cherry,

Watch.

Watch what happens.

As Tucker held the stone up to the light,

His angel started to appear in the stone.

Oh,

Said Cherry.

She's lovely.

The angel smiled down on Cherry and Tucker.

And she said,

You get one wish,

Just one wish.

Just as she was saying that,

Tucker stood backwards and stood on a pokey stone that made him hurt his back paw.

In the meantime,

He jumped and then started to fly backwards.

The stone went flying up in the air.

Cherry started to screech at the top of her lungs.

Oh,

Itching!

As Tucker was flying backwards,

Shouting,

Ah!

And as he did so,

His wish inside of his head was,

I wish I could fly!

Thinking he was going to avoid a horrible landing.

Just then,

Just that second,

Tucker flapped his wings.

He flapped his little wings.

He flapped them again.

And then he said,

Oh,

Gosh!

What am I?

Frantically looking for Cherry,

Couldn't find her anywhere until he noticed this beautiful,

Beautiful,

Bright orange butterfly hovering across from him.

And then,

She said,

Oh,

Che!

Tucker!

You're so precious!

Tucker was a blue monarch with black trims on his wings.

Tucker looked at Cherry and he was blown away at how pretty she was.

And he said,

Cherry!

Cherry!

Cherry!

Oh,

My gosh!

You're so cute!

Cherry tried to look at her own wings as she was flapping them.

This white butterfly started to fly towards them.

I've always wanted to be a butterfly,

Said Faya.

Close behind her was this dark grey,

Steel butterfly,

Mr.

Kitty.

D'Angelo.

Faya,

You look as pretty as a picture,

He said to her.

And she said,

Oh,

You look so handsome,

Dark and mysterious.

And then she giggled.

Heidi was a bright,

Pale grey butterfly,

Along with Ho,

That was a black,

Dark,

Dark butterfly.

And Sasha,

Sasha was like a golden,

Creamy colour,

Just like Leo.

Sasha and Leo looked at each other,

Moving their little wings,

And then all of a sudden Cherry said,

Is it just me,

Or does everybody need to go and hunt for some nice,

Like,

Nectary stuffy,

You know,

Like something sweet?

The whole crowd started laughing,

As if something was going on.

Something was driving them forward.

They all started to fly in the same direction.

They were flying towards a garden close by that had lots and lots of natural weeds and butterfly-friendly flowers and all yummy,

Delicious stuff to feed on.

Cherry,

At the front with Tucker,

Said,

OMG,

I would have never in a million years thought I would ever,

Ever,

Ever,

Ever,

Ever be a butterfly.

You're a genius.

You're a genius,

Tucker.

What made you wish to be a butterfly this time?

Tucker said,

I didn't.

It just happened.

I said,

Oh,

I wish I could fly,

As I was falling backwards.

And then this happened.

My angel.

My angel's got us covered all the time.

She knows exactly what to do with us.

It was so pretty,

If you were to just watch them.

All of them.

All eight of them.

Just flying by.

All different colours.

All beautiful butterflies.

When they got to the garden,

They did what butterflies do.

They flew from flower to flower,

From weed to weed,

Feeding off the sugary water or the nectar or the pollen.

Tucker said,

Oh,

This stuff is absolutely delicious.

Leo said,

I have a feeling that I'm not going to be allergic to any of it.

Sasha started laughing.

That's a refreshing change,

She said.

By now,

Sasha knew that Leo has tendencies to be very sensitive and allergic to most things.

Including her sometimes.

Sometimes if she gets too close,

Whatever it is,

The dander on her fur or what,

Makes him sneeze.

But he wouldn't have it any other way.

So Leo was enjoying the freedom of just diving into all the different flowers and not having any kind of allergic reaction.

Poe decided that being a butterfly was the best thing that could have ever happened to him.

It was very romantic,

Very je ne sois,

You know.

It was perfect for his temperament.

He was flying around all flouncy and posy.

And Heidi just thought that was adorable.

Can you imagine Heidi's little glasses on her face as a butterfly?

She looked so cute.

The whole gang did their thing as butterflies for a while and then they flew home.

Cherry said,

How many times do you get to talk to your stone?

You know,

Could we do the same thing again today but be something different?

Tucker said,

Oh,

I don't know about that Cherry because that might just tire her out.

She might be completely tired.

She might only have one wish in her for a while.

I don't know.

All the butterflies landed on the Buddha statue in Tucker and Leo's garden.

Tucker couldn't dig up the stone because he was a butterfly.

But luckily for him,

When he was a dog and he had it in his paw and it went flying up in the air,

It just landed on the grass.

All the butterflies flew down and gathered around his magical stone.

The stone was dormant.

It wasn't lighting up with the sky or the golden veins were getting bright or his little fairy angel didn't appear.

It was just a stone.

Cherry said,

What if you rub it?

You know,

You could maybe rub it like,

What you call him,

You know,

Aladdin.

You know,

You could do that.

They all fluttered around the stone and rubbed it with their wings.

But nothing happened.

Maybe she's gone to sleep,

Said Cherry.

Hello,

Angel.

Wake it up.

Wake it up.

Come on.

Wakey wakey.

Wake it up.

It's morning time.

It's wakey wakey time.

Nothing happened.

Faye said,

I think it would be rude of us to try and do something else on the same day.

I think Tucker's right.

Maybe she's just tired.

Well,

There's only so much you can do as a butterfly.

I mean,

What else can we do?

It's not like we can like,

I don't know,

Go bowling.

Can you imagine us going bowling?

Tucker said,

Cherry,

How are we supposed to lift up a ball?

You wally.

Cherry started laughing hysterically.

OMG,

That's so true.

Can't even rub on a stone properly.

Do you mind lift up a bowling ball?

Well,

Maybe we could have a dance party though.

That'd be fun,

Wouldn't it?

Ho said,

But we don't have any music.

Cherry said,

We don't need music.

We can sing.

La la,

La la,

La la.

Everybody joined in with Cherry.

La la,

La la,

La la.

They were all flying around in circles.

Ho was dipping and then flying up and spinning around.

Everybody was copying his moves because,

After all,

Ho was very je ne sois,

Like I said.

La la,

La la,

La la.

They sang as butterflies and danced and flew around as butterflies for quite a while.

But then eventually,

It was time for everybody to go home.

And just like that,

Tooka and Leo were laid on their big,

Soft,

Comfortable dog bed together.

Tooka was very,

Very happy.

Leo was smiling like a Cheshire cat,

Just knowing that Sasha was just a few feet away next door,

On the other side of the fence,

And he would be seeing her tomorrow morning,

First thing when he went out for a pee.

Eventually,

The dogs fell fast asleep.
