It came as a rain on a desert.
It came as a winter lone sailor caught in the calm.
She gives me joy.
She gives me laughter.
She heals my old wounds.
She pours the milk of meaning to this old vessel.
I feel this to be the end of my journey of trials and tribulations,
My toils and sufferings coming to an end at last.
I feel saved,
Saved by her,
Through her,
And maybe with her.
And the funny thing is,
You are the only person I can share it with,
Because if I start telling all about it to them,
There will be a wall of misunderstanding.
But you,
You are open.
You listen freely,
And this feels like balm for my soul.
