This is the ego that wants to be different.

I want to be different.

I want to be better than him.

I want to be richer than her.

I want to be more intelligent than him.

This is all ego.

Ego comes up.

Subtle body.

It's got nothing to do with the knower.

Yes,

The knower never says I am bigger or greater than the other.

The knower does not speak.

Silence cannot speak.

You are not different.
