An emotional rollercoaster through the lucid dream state. Tonight, meet up with a lost loved one. Manifest them inside your own mind and embrace. This type of lucid dream can be used as a sort of healing. But please approach with caution. These LDs should not be indulged in. And they certainly shouldn't be approached with unrealistic expectations. But with a tempered mentality, they can be induced from time to time. Responsibly. In a measured and mature fashion. And so, good luck on your travels! And let us know how you got along. Voice: Reece Joseph Jones

You are now entering a real lucid dream.

A lucid dream lifted from the pages of my very own dream journal.

By listening to this recording you'll sow the seeds for a lucid dream of your own later on in the night.

This in and of itself can be considered an induction technique.

A simple one granted,

But a technique nonetheless.

By turning the lights off,

Laying down on your bed and closing your eyes,

You can simply and effectively induce a lucid dream by leaving this recording on as you drift away.

Let my words,

Let my dream penetrate your subconscious.

Allow it to find its way in and allow it to make itself at home.

By falling to sleep with this recording on,

Your mind will be primed and your neurons will be wired.

You'll be saturated in the world of lucid dreaming.

So find a quiet spot now and get settled in.

Get comfortable and my voice will return in a couple of minutes to guide you into another world.

Tonight you enter your dreams with your focus and will aligned.

You want to manifest a loved one.

A loved one you haven't seen in a very long time.

A loved one that passed on a while ago.

A loved one that weighs heavy in your mind.

And so with this strong intent at the fore,

You manage to cross the veil with your lucidity intact.

With a sharpness of thought and a clear vision.

Through the hypnagogic state,

Through the liminality of colors and shapes,

Flashes and bangs,

Sound and vision.

And then out the other side,

Into one last frame of blackness.

A hushed moment of silence before full propulsion through the void and out into inner space.

You arrive here inside the dream state,

Blazing hot lucidity,

Harnessed.

It's more familiar yet distinct.

You know this place so well and yet every time you arrive,

It's like being born again.

You see through fresh yet experienced eyes.

You feel with tender yet skilled hands.

And as you traverse this space,

You do so with the wonder of a child.

There,

Wherever this space may be,

And you honor it for the special experience it is.

Bowing gently to acknowledge your feelings,

Showing gratitude and reverence in the process.

This way for farther,

A voice booms through the dreamscape.

And without the need for another word,

You feel yourself swept away on a tide towards a new space and a new experience.

This new space hums with a golden glow and hums too with the noise of hustle and bustle.

It's here that you realize you're meant to meet your loved one.

The loved one that passed on recently.

And so you begin to keep an eye out for them.

But it's hard to focus with the crowds.

There are many people here,

Moving and talking,

Running and walking.

One greets you.

One waves.

It's hard to keep up.

But you don't allow yourself to become overwhelmed.

Instead,

You keep on searching.

Detached from the chaos of the scene.

Down.

From hundreds down to a dozen or so.

And then to no one.

Where's everyone gone?

You wonder.

The sudden stillness hitting you like a ton of bricks.

This way for father,

The booming voice once more echoes through your dreamscape.

Bouncing off the walls and back again.

As if in response to your thoughts.

Your ears prick.

And you follow.

A nostalgic place.

A place that stirs up all sorts of memories.

Good and bad.

This is a place from your childhood,

You realize.

And so you begin to explore.

You recognize this room.

And this room too.

Opening one door and then another.

Then the next.

Until finally,

You find the room that sparks the most intense emotions yet.

Your childhood bedroom.

Tears well up in your dream eyes.

And for one last time,

The disembodied voice booms out.

This room for father.

Out of the void and into seemingly solid reality.

But of course,

You know you're still dreaming.

And that solid reality is an illusion here.

In this alternative world.

In this personalized world.

Meant for you.

And you alone.

And so it's with this lucid awareness that you engage with your loved one.

Lucid and humble and loving.

It's been a while,

You say.

They nod in silence.

A lucid dream of this nature is a tricky beast.

You have to approach it with all humility.

It can,

After all,

Do more harm than good.

You can't enter it with the expectation to mend bridges in actuality or heal a broken heart beyond what's due.

These chances are gone now,

In some sense.

But what isn't gone is a chance to petition.

A chance to appeal to God,

In all earnestness.

To bring you relief.

Or to ask for forgiveness.

On your loved one's behalf.

Or to seek a greater understanding of their life.

Because we mustn't think that we can somehow change what's transpired in the past.

Of course we can't.

What's done is done.

But we can petition for a new path going forward.

Here you rest with your loved one.

Continuing to appeal to God to bring you relief.

Relief from the pain of their passing.

Relief from regrets of the past.

Relief from all that cannot be changed.

And here you continue to rest with your loved one.

Continuing to appeal to God to forgive them.

To forgive them for any wrongdoings.

To forgive them for the things they said.

To forgive them for any impiety.

And it's in this supplication,

That you request,

In all earnestness,

To understand them.

To understand everything that happened in their life.

To understand the long path trodden.

By you.

And by them.

That it's time to move on.

You smile.

You embrace.

You tell them you love them.

And you let them know that this might be the last time.

The last ever time you do this.

Because this is not something that should be indulged in,

Dear traveler.

These lucid rendezvous.

And your loved one somehow understands this.

And they smile back.

And they hug you back.

And they wish you.

Farewell.

If you listened to this lucid dreaming story just for fun,

I hope you enjoyed it.

And if you listened for induction purposes,

Then I hope this parting message now finds you relaxed and drifting.

Your lucid dreaming seeds have been sown.

Your mind has been primed.

And you are ready for sleep.

And so with that,

I draw this session to a close.

Remember,

You are a lucid dreamer.

Never forget it.

Happy dreaming.
