You are now entering a real lucid dream,
A lucid dream lifted from the pages of my very own dream journal.
By listening to this recording,
You'll sow the seeds for a lucid dream of your own later on in the night.
This in and of itself can be considered an induction technique,
A simple one granted,
But a technique nonetheless.
By turning the lights off,
Laying down on your bed,
And closing your eyes,
You can simply and effectively induce a lucid dream by leaving this recording on as you drift away.
Let my words,
Let my dream penetrate your subconscious,
Allow it to find its way in and allow it to make itself at home.
By falling to sleep with this recording on,
Your mind will be primed and your neurons will be wired,
You'll be saturated in the world of lucid dreaming.
So find a quiet spot now and get settled in,
Get comfortable,
And my voice will return in a couple of minutes to guide you into another world.
You awaken in a place,
Awash in white light,
A place that reminds you of clouds,
Airy and pure,
High in the heavens,
Yet grounded in something solid and real.
It takes a moment for your eyes to adjust,
The white glow seared on your retina,
And then once the initial flare dies down,
Simmering embers glow in place of it,
Surrounding you,
Arriving from everywhere and nowhere,
All at once,
And this light you realize is alive,
Communicating with you,
And this reminds you that you're dreaming.
Stand up and follow me,
It says,
Imparting the request through thought alone,
And in my wake great fortune will be bestowed upon you.
You listen to the voice,
Rise up,
Then follow.
For a while,
You simply walk,
Going wherever the white glow seems strongest,
Down corridors of pearls,
And then down avenues of white beams.
This world you've found yourself in here is the world of dreams,
You understand that,
And yet,
Something more seems to have touched you,
The presence of something,
Alien,
No,
Not alien,
Something entirely known,
Yes,
Yes,
Something so well known,
In fact,
That it's become forgotten in its plainness.
And so you follow the light further,
The general direction,
Always seeming to lead upwards,
And so you travel higher,
And higher and higher still,
And as you travel this world of creamy white,
Led by an incorporeal voice,
Unseen worlds suddenly become manifest.
You look to your right and see the angels,
You look to your left and see human souls,
Rising,
Dancing to the rhythm of the holy calls,
The singing,
And the harps.
You feel blessed to be here,
In this realm of heavenly light,
Dreaming and yet,
Somehow not,
Lucid and yet,
Somehow beyond lucid,
Beyond just dreaming.
And so here you stay,
Soaking in the beauty,
But it's movement that defines this realm,
And so you don't stay still for long,
This is not the top,
The voice says,
And in a flash you're even higher.
For a moment you feel dizzied by your fast ascent,
Looking down to see how far you've come,
No point in looking back,
The voice says,
Flooding you in a light so pure,
You barely know what to do with it.
This place has no top,
Because your world has no bottom,
The voice continues,
Booming,
Comforting in it's nature,
Caressing you in it's warm embrace,
And then,
Giving you a moment to adjust.
Eventually,
You reach a place that you struggle to understand at all,
Physical form has been transcended now,
Voices and thoughts are hardly a thing either,
And when they do occasionally appear,
They're abstract and hard to grapple with.
If you weren't somewhere else before,
Then you certainly are now.
And it just gets stranger still,
Every time you think you've understood something,
It slips through your fingers like sand,
And you're experiencing something new entirely.
Something bigger,
Somewhere stranger,
Somewhere wider than the sky.
You find yourself floating now,
Floating in a sort of nothingness,
Peaceful and serene.
In this abstracted state,
You can still be considered a person,
But that person is dispersed amongst the light.
You barely remember the beginning of this dream,
Or exactly how you got here,
But you do still remember it's a dream,
Lucidity blazing like a hot iron.
And so,
You hold on to that awareness,
With a certain strength and boldness.
After a while,
You find yourself so high,
That all that's left is a sense of humility and knowing.
There's no way to rationalize this space,
This experience.
There's no way to understand the light.
And so,
You simply follow,
Humbled and prostrate,
Worshipping the magnificence of the one true God and his awesome creation,
Praying that he'll have a place for you in the next world to come.
And so,
Now you're sent back.
The light,
The wonderful light,
Has imparted its lesson to you.
It's taught you what it needs to teach you.
And now it's sending you back down,
Down,
Down,
Into the earthly realms.
Still dreaming,
Still lucid dreaming in fact,
But slowly coming back into something that you recognize,
Something that you understand.
And still you continue to descend,
Beginning to recognize certain sights and sounds,
Certain people even,
A flash of a friendly face,
The turn of a body you think is a family member.
You're arriving in a place that perhaps you can call home.
And here you're ushered forward,
God encouraging you to put into practice the lessons you learned from the heavenly realms tonight.
On earth,
As it is in heaven,
You now begin a new phase of your lucid dream,
Back on solid ground,
The heavenly realms behind you now.
So go forth and dream well,
Always in the knowledge that he is with you,
Watching and guiding.
So dear dreamer,
Make him proud,
Dream big.
If you listened to this lucid dreaming story just for fun,
I hope you enjoyed it.
And if you listened for induction purposes,
Then I hope this parting message now finds you relaxed and drifting.
Your lucid dreaming seeds have been sown,
Your mind has been primed,
And you are ready for sleep.
And so with that,
I draw this session to a close.
Remember,
You are a lucid dreamer.
Never forget it.
Happy dreaming.
