Hello and welcome to this short face yoga exercise.
My name is Georgiana Padek and I am your face yoga teacher.
This particular exercise is meant to relax the face as well as stretch out the muscles around the eyes and the mouth,
The orbicularis oculi and the orbicularis oris,
Giving them the opportunity to reset.
First,
As I say in my live sessions,
We secure the forehead so that we don't end up with extra unwanted lines.
So place the pinkies over the eyebrows and intertwine the fingers over the forehead.
Relax the eyebrows.
Drop your chin down and let the mouth open long without moving the eyebrows and only using the eyes.
Look up.
Hold this position for five to six long deep breaths.
Release and relax the face.
Then repeat one more time.
Let's do it together.
So pinkies over eyebrows.
Fingers laced over forehead.
Chin down.
Look up.
And breathe deeply five to six times.
And all around the face.
Amazing.
And one more time.
Pinkies over eyebrows,
Fingers laced over forehead,
Chin down,
Look up,
Breathe deeply five to six times.
Done.
This exercise can be performed either mid-phase yoga practice or at the end.
