Hello and welcome to your evening gratitude practice.
I've designed this to be a nice and quick one just to help you wind down for the evening.
So when you're ready hopefully you've found a comfortable seat or you're laying down somewhere comfy and cozy.
If you'd like to close down your eyes if you haven't already you can do that now and let yourself just sink into the surface beneath you being held and supported.
Take some deep breaths maybe they're the deepest you've taken today.
Beautiful deep inhale feeling it through your stomach,
In your chest,
Full body.
We'll do three more like that.
Beautiful deep inhale and a long exhale.
You can sigh that out through the mouth or the nose.
A couple more just like that.
Just take a second to notice how you're feeling.
You're feeling a bit switched on still,
Agitated,
Being calm,
Sleepy,
Grounded.
Just take note of that and notice if there's a way you can make yourself even 10% more comfortable if you need some blankets over you,
Do you need to shift a pillow beneath your head.
Really let yourself drop in and land.
Now just think of some things that come to mind today that's made you feel grateful,
Made you feel giddy,
Excited,
Happy.
I'll give you some examples and I'll let you drop into this practice for yourself but maybe it was waking up next to your partner,
Child,
Dog,
Your cat,
A loved one.
Maybe it was the morning coffee you had today,
Your wholesome day at work or at home.
Maybe it was a workout class.
Maybe it was you got something done that you needed to get done and was putting it off,
An email or a bill.
Just let them flow through you,
They don't need to be big or grand,
Be the tiniest little thing,
A flower or a butterfly or anything that comes to mind,
Nothing is wrong.
I'm going to give you some time to sit with these,

That's beautiful,
Otherwise if you feel you're complete you can sit in the nice feelings of happiness and giddiness.
When you're ready I invite you to take a nice deep breath,
Just reveling in gratitude and happiness and feelings.
Maybe you don't feel any different and that's okay because we're really just planting the seeds now for your mind to notice little moments of beauty,
Pockets of pleasure and happiness.
It's okay if it doesn't feel revolutionary today.
And here I just really invite you to take a moment for yourself,
Life is tough,
Life can be hard and challenging and you did it,
You got up today,
You did the things,
You worked hard,
You got things ticked off your to-do list.
You being here in this moment is a credit to you and the love and priority you want to put into yourself.
And while you might not feel you can change the world,
Or maybe you do,
I'm absolutely amazing for that,
If sometimes you're feeling a little bit lost though,
I just invite you to remember that this is shifting the consciousness of yourself,
Of the world around you,
Of the people that come into contact with you day-to-day.
You're doing amazing,
You really are and even if it doesn't feel like that,
I'm grateful you're here taking this time for yourself and taking the time to shift your mindset and the perspective and that's so powerful and you are so powerful.
So thank you for taking these five minutes with me this evening and I hope you have a really beautiful evening and I hope when you wake up tomorrow you find even more things to be grateful for.
