Welcome to your EFT tapping script for cultivating self-grace and releasing the habit of self-criticism.

So let's begin by tapping on the karate chop point on the side of the hand and repeat after me.

Even though I've been really hard on myself for a long time,

And it feels like my default way of being,

I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Even though I have a history of criticizing myself,

And part of me believes I need to do that to do better,

I'm ready to soften and begin treating myself with grace and understanding.

Even though self-criticism feels familiar and safe,

I'm open to learning a new way,

One rooted in compassion and self-kindness.

Now moving on,

Tapping the eyebrow point.

I've been so hard on myself for so long.

Side of the eye,

It's like an old reflex that just happens.

Under the eye,

I've learned to push myself through pressure and judgment.

Under the nose,

And part of me thought that was the only way to improve.

Tapping the chin,

But it's exhausting to live that way.

Tapping the collarbone,

I can feel the weight of always needing to be better.

Under the arm,

I acknowledge this habit of self-criticism.

Top of the head,

I'm ready to see it with compassion instead of shame.

Back to the eyebrow point,

Maybe I don't need to be so hard on myself anymore.

Side of the eye,

I've carried this pattern long enough.

Under the eye,

It doesn't actually protect me,

It keeps me small and tense.

Under the nose,

I release this pressure to be perfect.

Tapping the chin,

I let go of the voice that says I'm never enough.

Tapping the collarbone,

I thank it for trying to keep me safe,

But I choose peace now.

Under the arm,

It's safe to ease up.

Top of the head,

It's safe to offer myself grace.

Back to the eyebrow point,

What if I spoke to myself the way I speak to someone I love?

Side of the eye,

I can practice that now.

Under the eye,

I choose to offer myself forgiveness for all the times I've been harsh.

Under the nose,

I'm learning to be gentle with my inner world.

Chin,

Grace feels softer and kinder in my body.

Collarbone,

I breathe in compassion.

Under the arm,

I breathe out the old pressure.

Top of the head,

My heart opens to self-kindness and grace.

Returning to the eyebrow point,

I am allowed to make mistakes and still be worthy.

Side of the eye,

I'm allowed to be human and still be lovable.

Under the eye,

Every time I soften,

I actually become stronger.

Under the nose,

I trust that grace helps me grow far more than judgment ever could.

Chin,

I'm learning a new way of being with tenderness.

Collarbone,

I honor the effort it took to get here.

Underarm,

I am proud of my progress.

Top of head,

I am grace,

I am love,

I am enough.

Now put your hand on your heart,

Take a deep breath through your nose,

And exhale out of your mouth.

And say to yourself,

I release the need to be perfect.

I am gentle with myself,

And that gentleness allows me to flourish.
