Hello,
My name is Keith Parker with Field Dynamics Energy Healing and this is a discussion about psychic skills,
Extra sensory perception,
Etc.
Etc.
And I'm going to lay a broad foundation and framework around these subjects.
They're very interesting subjects and I'm going to give you historical backgrounds,
I'm going to catalog kinds of psychic skills and really focus on demystifying.
Now reasonable and healthy skepticism is common here with these kinds of skills and I certainly spent quite a bit of time not believing or being skeptical of the kinds of things I'm going to share with you but my experience has proven me incorrect.
So we'll go over structural and conceptual frameworks to understand them,
We'll catalog them and I'll also share with you some experiences I've had up through and including kind of where my kind of specialty is with extra sensory perception and that is with a certain kind of vision of the energy field that I will go into more detail.
So some people have extra sensory perception naturally but in general these kinds of skills come as a consequence of purification practices,
Healing work and general spiritual development.
In the yogic and Buddhist traditions these are usually referred to or translated as attainments,
The siddhis and the iddhis and they're attainments simply because they're commonly occurring as people do more spiritual development work,
More awakening work.
And the reason behind that is we'll go into more and more is because things that are considered DSP and psychic in nature are essentially where a person's awareness is working with subtle senses,
Essentially where a person is reading the information or feeling the information that's happening in the realm of the subtle,
The subtle energy and that has much more to do with electromagnetic fields,
The behavior of light and how information is encoded in light and also in a sense more of the inner workings of the mind.
So they're very useful in energy work and with field dynamics of which I'm a founder we do a lot of work with helping people to bring out their extra sensory talents as it's extremely useful in healing work.
So extra sensory perception refers to something that's usually considered beyond normal or super normal but the other most common contemporary term would be psychic and this really gives us an insight because psychic comes from psyche,
Psyche is sometimes translated or really comes from the word soul and I would add that what this is mostly referring to is the mind.
These are like mental powers in my opinion and we'll just move forward with that.
Now again these seem far out,
Some of these things do seem far out but you'll see as a catalog them that they're not that strange especially when considering some of the communities who engage with them like the military but their ways again of interacting with subtle information,
Subtle energy,
Electromagnetic energy and that is in opposition to the idea of gross in the yogic tradition,
The idea of gross versus subtle so the gross being the physical body,
The material body,
Elements and chemicals versus the subtle which again is electromagnetic or light in nature.
Now one way to think about these is that psychic abilities are basically sublimated physical senses they're kind of the other side if you think of the mind and body connection they're like the mind aspect of what we think of as there's a physical component so there's like hearing for instance so we have hearing through the ears and then there's something called clairaudience which is about hearing but hearing with your subtle senses so you hear an inner voice in a sense so you could say you hear with the subtle ear so that's one framework that you could operate with often is that they are sublimated physical senses.
Now you have likely had an experience of a psychic nature of an extra sensory nature in your life at least once I'd say most people have maybe even just really strong intuition which also comes into into play when speaking of ESP and I'll get more into intuition as well.
Now given that you may have had those experiences that may provoke an interest it also may have given you a grounding in direct experience that there are ways of knowing ways of interacting with reality and through your sensing that inform you in a way that is not only exotic but points to the beyond it points to the fact that we experience ourselves embedded in a kind of sensorial reality that has a built in limits in a sense built in definitions of what is within the normal range of human experience but extra sensory perception kind of blurs those boundaries and helps us to move beyond that and that direct experience is very very useful for for growing for breaking down belief structures and for shifting people's reality frameworks so remember everyone is a snowflake and I say that in the best way in that everyone also has particular predilection a particular setup in their wiring that certain skills will come forward if they continue to pursue subtle perception.
And so you know sometimes people are known to be auditory or kinesthetic maybe you've heard these kinds of classifications so for instance if you're very auditory you might often say oh well um you know that idea rings a bell you know you use vocabulary that reflects the idea that very often you're thinking of things musically so sometimes there's an easy correlation to see that that kind of learning orientation or sensory orientation to be it a vision versus sound versus touch those might be an indication of where your path may lead you if you pursue the development of subtle perception.
Now everyone does have these abilities to some degree already and there are ways of accessing them instantaneously but of course it does require practice and then there's a longer term developmental process where they can be fully integrated fully accessible in waking state in every day every moment life and these are awakened by your own pursuit and if this subject really interests you I certainly advocate looking into developing them but be forewarned many traditions speak of these kinds of skills as stumbling blocks on the path to enlightenment and they can wind up taking you more out and away from the world rather than being more in it and we don't want to have these things become distractions we don't want to have these things become the defining aspects of ourselves.
To go over and above the importance of being present being engaged in the moment and being connected to your body I believe my framework for working towards spiritual development is is anchored in the here and the now and so these skills and going into subtle realms as it were can potentially take one into a meandering path away from the world away from the presence but I believe if skillfully managed these subtle extra sensory senses can not only be of great use to yourself and others but they are ways to directly experience the the strange nature of reality which I mentioned which is certainly strange.
Reality is more than it seems and ESP and psychic phenomena brings us into direct contact with that.
Now there is a trending cultural fascination.
I will get to the cataloging in just a moment but there is a trending cultural fascination with this.
Notice Harry Potter,
The Marvel films there's so much interest in magic and superpowers and so the collective interest in this general subject is heightened.
Now granted those films are a fantastical version of what ESP is of course but they refer to the skill and all of us in some way or another are aware of these skills and maybe this is just a revisiting of a movement that happened about a hundred years ago.
There was a big move in spiritualism and it was quite a big wave pre-World War I and in the late 1800s through World War I and maybe this is just another wave in that same movement and might it be in parallel with the revolution in society regarding technology.
So previously it was during the Industrial Revolution where people were seeing that the world was being connected and moving in a different way in a very condensed manner and so we're experiencing that again now about a hundred years later with the information age,
The digital age and of course is considerably more dense,
Considerably more quickened and so maybe that external reflection of more connectivity,
More technological capability,
More hi-fi is feeding back and building this interest that lies dormant in the collective around exploring reality in subtle ways,
Breaking out of the confines of what we're told or what things seem to be and looking into the beyond.
That's just a thought.
So a traditional perspective or traditional ways of working with ESP,
Shamans for instance are regularly working with extrasensory perception through traditional medicines or otherwise and so we can see the underpinnings of the most traditional cultures and traditions having a bedrock of the wise person in the village and the medicine person utilizing forms of extrasensory perception whether themselves or through administration of maybe particular medicines to people to put them in non-ordinary states but we see that they're useful for healing function.
As mentioned the Buddhist and yogic traditions identify these very clearly in what are called the Iddies and the Siddhis which are translated as attainments and so these are very very well understood in a sense and very reliably come upon by communities who are working a lot with developing present moment awareness and again it's because they're just natural components of the functioning of the mind they're natural ways in which when one starts to break down certain kinds of presumptions in their perception and in their energy system and perception in particular these kinds of worlds of information or domains or membranes of information come forward and you know they're often warned against in those traditions in the meditative traditions because they can become very very distracting to being in the present moment.
So a little bit about structural and conceptual underpinnings to this.
Essentially these kinds of skills ESP are about learning to read your system at different levels or layers.
So what is your system comprised of?
Well I'll give you a basic overview of the energy field.
Now sometimes it's referred to as the aura.
A better more descriptive contemporary label may be something like a multi-dimensional system or a multi-dimensional energy field.
Now that multi-dimensionality has layers that's what each of the dimensions are and there are seven primary layers to your energy field and those seven layers correspond to seven dimensions and those seven dimensions correspond to the traditional sense of seven chakras.
Each of these dimensions each layer has a different color and it has a different flavor has different domain of information and also a different domain even of identity.
I don't want to get too far off and getting into energy field structure but I specialize in this and I can tell you firsthand that there are these very distinct seven layers and what's most interesting is that science is confirming this in the most cutting-edge research going on.
So for instance just as an example the blue brain project in Switzerland just within the past few years they found out that and this is in working with brain the brain of rats that a rat brain is functioning multi-dimensionally meaning more than length with a night more than three dimensions and that it mostly most of the information interface of a rat's brain is in what would be seventh dimensional function and that dimensionality the information interface is through geometry.
So surprise surprise geometry has to is core to the idea of multi-dimensionality and going back a few thousand years or more we can just see the chakra systems written out by the yogis having these geometric forms going up and down the body and they are absolutely correlated and describing the same thing.
Now the last component I'll mention about steps and structural underpinnings would be the holographic principle and that is simply that a hologram can store all the information of the whole in any single part.
Basically this has been suggested by many many many scientists and certainly it also makes sense from traditional depictions of deep inspections of reality from the subjective level and that is simply that in every part the whole.
So if you were to look at any single point in space and time and you were to zoom in enough you would find that the entirety of the universe is imprinted the information of the entirety of the universe is imprinted in every single point and that sounds astounding and over the top in terms of well how can that be possible but actually it is possible and it is suggested by very credible people and it is very likely the case that that is what we're working with.
So thank you for staying with this thus far we are now going to get into types of psychic skill this is this is maybe the juiciest part.
So firstly I'll mention clairvoyance.
Clairvoyance refers to a kind of image it's usually referring to seeing inner seeing and we see this very commonly in dream work shamanic dream work or depth psychology like Jungian even dream work.
People work with images with symbols now clairvoyance is going to err on the side of the symbolic but we can see that there is a pendulation between the literal and the symbolic and clairvoyance mostly again is working with images internally with the inner eye in a sense.
Some people are very very good with clairvoyance and that kind of symbolic language or even that highly suggestive near literal or literal kind of image can be quite accurate or certainly very very useful for a person understanding the inner functions of the psyche.
Now I had for instance I'll briefly mention I had a very very interesting clairvoyant experience a strong one at one point some years ago and that was I was just simply in a meditation and all of a sudden I found myself in a room again this is just inner imaging and I found myself in a room with another person who I'd never seen or met before and somehow I knew that I would be meeting them a week later when I was going to be off traveling and lo and behold the exact place where I thought I'd meet them I did and that was very strange that has not happened before or after but that is a kind of clairvoyance and even tied in with intuition.
Another kind is clairaudience now this is usually translated as pure hearing whereas clairvoyance is a kind of pure seeing.
Clairaudience is pure hearing.
Some people are very familiar with the idea of having inner guides and so this is how some people's clairaudience works is they in a sense describe that they have an inner voice available to them where they're being told stuff all the time this is that would be a very active form of clairaudience and then of course in other circumstances sometimes someone may just get a hit where they hear a phrase they hear a term I have a friend for instance who regularly is kind of something drops in and they hear a phrase or an object or something to look up and they do the research and it becomes relevant for what it is they've been looking around for lately now does that mean that the the inner guidance is coming from something external to them a being that is not them well that's a whole other discussion and certainly an open-ended question but nonetheless clairaudience is this subtle hearing where not with the physical ear but rather with the subtle ear there is information that is communicated through language and this can be very very useful for people it also connects to channeling of course some people are very are very good at bringing through if you would say bringing through what they are describing as and intending to have as be other forms of consciousness other beings who they are offering themselves as instruments for that being or consciousness to move through so clairaudience is very very very useful for a channeler maybe if you're not familiar with any channeling information some channeling is really really fantastic I think perhaps the most famous channeler in the modern modern times is editor Casey who is extremely accurate granted education he wouldn't have had clairaudience in the sense that he wasn't actually awake for any of the channeling he did but one where clairaudience would presumably be really functioning would be for instance in the Seth speaks material and that is also very well known material by Jane Roberts now then there's intuition now intuition is a kind of a pure knowing and the best way of understanding intuition I believe would be that intuition is what is happening before the function of the kind of analytical mind is very very primary in one's one's kind of experience one's knowing and intuition is a faculty to develop quite deeply and when that intuition comes in before the analytical mind we might say then that we switch over to pure feeling clairsentience when it actually then starts to filter through the sensorial components of the body so some people are clairsentient and that usually is translated to this pure feeling and I think that clairsentience may be the closest thing to what people are referring to now the popular term of being empathic so that there's a feeling associated with the body with the gut in particular with the lower part of the body as that information field goes from its emanation point in the higher dimensions or the upper chakras and it moves down down the central channel it moves down through all the chakras and then starts to come back up from the root and when it comes back up from the root it gets to essentially that information is passed through the physical body for the first time and that is likely in my mapping where empathic information comes in because empathy has to do with the feeling it's not necessarily pure intuition which intuition doesn't have to have feeling necessarily associated with it it is in this mapping I would say intuition is just the cleanest just pure knowing before any even feeling kicks in so we're just working with that in this framework okay moving on telepathy so telepathy is knowing thoughts like reading thought thought forms in a sense and all thoughts do have form and telepathy is essentially the skill of reading other people's minds reading other people's thoughts and this is very high frequency keeping in mind the model where the upper chakras are increasingly mined and they also are correlate with faster and faster frequency so telepathy is a skill which is a very high frequency skill and you can potentially read someone's thoughts now then we have something like teleportation here's the Wikipedia definition it is the hypothetical transfer of matter or energy from one point to another without traversing the physical space between them I don't think there's anything hypothetical about it this has been measured a really straightforward experiment is will it William tiller who's a PhD from Stanford professor and he went ahead and did things like he measured he measured the space of a room before an event would happen and would see that days before it would happen the room would take on a different electromagnetic environment that would be a precursor to the environment that was essentially coming days later ie the simple way of saying that is when you if you think of the Mona Lisa right now and I mean the actual Mona Lisa in the world not the idea of the Mona Lisa but the Mona Lisa in what I believe is in the Louvre and forgive me if I'm wrong but if you think of the Mona Lisa in the Louvre if we had a little measuring tool right around the Mona Lisa and if you thought clearly about it you focused on it we would actually be able to measure that the electromagnetic field around the Mona Lisa would compress it would actually squeeze the light field around the Mona Lisa and that is your mind being partially distributed there your energy being partially distributed there now this is measurable it has been proven and there is not remotely hypothetical it has to do with the nature of mind and its underlying non locality and I will come back to that concept a little later on but this is very very important this could be very alarming to hear that where you place your mind you actually are partially distributing yourself with that person or place or thing so astral projection now things get really interesting here because many people have had experiences with this by chance so first and foremost if you're interested in astral projection the Monroe Institute in which also Robert Monroe has written a number of books with it and they have a functioning Institute they are the absolute creme de la creme of astral projection and astral work around and I ask that you please if you're interested in astral projection work just check out the work that has come out of the Monroe Institute now the astral body in the in the schema that I have put forward is made of plasma and that plasma is different than the matter that we are familiar with of just liquid gas and solid it is the fourth state of matter matter and that is the model I work with regarding the astral body and astral projection can be a whole practice in and of itself some people find a lot of use for developing the ability to consciously astral project but the main thing to think of I believe is most useful in thinking of the astral body and projection is it is the body that we are functioning in when we sleep so there are a number of communities who are working with astral projection and there are a huge amount of reports of the clarity of seeing the astral body floating outside of the physical body usually it floats above the body anywhere from a few inches to a few feet and many people report seeing it connected by a kind of cord sometimes it is referred to as the silver cord but astral projection can be very useful for people both in terms of understanding the nature of themselves because when you have an out of body experience and astral projection generally does go into the category of OBEs as well out of body experiences what happens is you actually can see in your astral body you can like see the world still and what that implies is that you don't need physical eyes to see and furthermore you can see your physical body from the astral body so imagine having that experience which some of you probably have where you have whether it be consciously chosen or kind of spontaneously happens when you have been sleeping you awaken to a state where you are seeing your physical body and you're not in it so what that does is it is quite a big awakening as to the nature of consciousness as to the way the nature of yourself and what it might be that is happening regarding incarnation regarding life and death and so this is a major major experience for people now I have had a number of spontaneous astral projections I have practiced it very very little but when I first started meditating over a decade ago in the first year I had multiple experiences of spontaneous astral projection in particular for instance one time I was sitting in a decent sized room simply meditating upright and all of a sudden the next thing I know I'm about I don't know five or six feet behind my physical body up in the air almost touching the ceiling and I'm looking at my back my physical body's back and around my physical body was a kind of hazy gray and blue light kind of a gel like looking light and I was looking at that and just going you know what what is going on here how is this possible this is not possible based on my belief systems at all and that was quite a stunning experience and all of a sudden snap I was back in my physical body and I've had a number of experiences like that and this is astral projection or OBEs many people have these experiences when they are young they will just find themselves floating outside of their body in their bedroom as a child and don't really know what to do with it another thing is the astral domain has a particular quality to it when you see it consciously and I will talk about that a little bit coming up moving on psychometry this is reading information about an object it's a you could say it's a form of clairvoyance because you take the object like a pen for instance and you're seeing information about it which could be symbolic could be literal and you're reading that information so it and that information is maybe shown in visual form and in that sense it could be clairvoyant or you if you're hearing things about it it would be clairaudient and then a related form of psychometry which some people make a big a whole kind of skill set out of so some people do readings on object psychometry okay simple enough but remote viewing is also in a sense a kind of psychometry in that you are assigned an object a person a place even I mean anything but you're assigned something to look at the information field around and this is sometimes referred to as psychometry as I'm mentioning but also it really falls into remote viewing now remote viewing which is something that has been heavily heavily researched a number of books by Russell targ go into remote viewing but understand and know that remote viewing has been invested in significantly by the military for many many decades and so trust me if the military is spending a lot of money and time developing a skill it's because it's real it exists and it's useful and remote viewing is something to look into it's interesting and very very effective in retrieving information you know so unfortunately in the case of the military they're doing things like having a remote viewer who is trained by the military look at let's say an enemy base something along those lines or retrieving classified information where's the music okay moving on so I've mentioned maybe now about seven or eight different kinds of ESP or things that are in that field of ESP and that is just seeing the energy field one is astral vision now astral vision would be seeing not just being in the astral body but it would be seeing the energy field at the level of the astral body now this would be seeing plasma is the most common way in which people think of when somebody says oh I see or as I see people's energy field now what that entails is a visioning of plasmic or liquid like color that is around the person's system the astral body is actually very much a body of feeling there's it's very pure feeling it you could maybe say it's pure emotion but there was a period in my experience where for about six months after a certain kind of opening in my energy system I was seeing this very clearly it was just there all of a sudden there was light swirling around the body and this is visible with your eyes open so your physical eyes can attune the color and the quality of the the the field and the light around the body has a liquid quality it's very like smeary dare I say and it's very thick it's viscous now a step beyond that which is I believe coming from the higher chakras whereas the astral would be a vision of essentially fourth chakra centeredness if you would call it that a different kind of vision is to just see the pure light fields now this is I'm calling pure light vision and that has to do with the seven layers of the field being represented all in monochromatic color in one single color that the dimension is related to which is the same as the breaking up of light through a prism and and underlying these seven dimensions these seven layers is geometry just pure geometry dictates the overarching structure of each of the dimension but then it's spinning within a toroidal field this kind of pure light vision is being seen through the third eye this is what that pineal gland on the physical body and what the sixth chakra in the energy body is showing it is showing a a perception of pure light fields governed by geometry the field is always spinning so it kind of works like this I close my eyes and the backdrop is black and superimposed on that black is whatever dominant dimension the light of that dominant dimension is what is seen and it is always spinning it is always rotating now generally it is one dimensional color at a time but sometimes it could be interlaced with as many as three but there is no viscous or liquid quality to it and it is all about form and what you could think of as a fabric of light so it's almost like little pixels or little dashes that comprise a kind of a membrane that is always moving and the movement this is the most interesting part I think the movement is governed by perception itself perception creates the spin where you place your awareness creates the nature of the spin and this is alluded to in the term torsion field dynamics and if you look that up it's considered a pseudoscience thing that has to do with the spin dynamics of the energy field into the zero point field of the vacuum and that is exactly what it looks like it's doing for my perception and to call torsion field spin pseudoscience to me is a disservice to what it's trying to speak to and that is that our perception is connected to and both going in and out of the zero point field which is the planck and sub planck level of our reality the smallest measurable unit of where time and space is emerging from and this for instance has been confirmed in the most cutting edge physics with the discovery of an object called the amplitahedron from the Large Hadron Collider in which it is understood at this point that there is geometry outside of time and space and that time and space itself actually is an emergent property of geometry now that sounds potentially very strange to you bottom bottom line is that geometry is a representation or some kind of an organizational structure that underlies manifest reality itself underlies time and space and this is actually not only from or can be understood through spiritual traditions certain kinds of insights and esoteric information but has been confirmed and is very very mathematically sound regarding cutting edge physics and understanding the nature of time and space itself so information is encoded in geometry if you want to look at an absolute genius in this general field you can look into Buckminster Fuller's work who was trying to get at the root of this throughout his lifetime to try and understand the nature and the role of geometry in relationship to the universe the human perception and all of it together this domain that I'm speaking of this pure light vision you could understand it potentially as where you can see thought where you can see ideas where you can see concepts the structure of thought the structure of an idea the structure of a concept if I'm with eyes closed a particular thought that I generate or if I'm working with somebody else a particular thought that they are holding what that will do is it will affect the the dimensional emphasis in the field and it will affect the spin and the quality of that thought the quality of the idea its vibrancy its kind of its essence will have particular qualities and make the field spin and move into particular dimensions so how did this happen this is just a consequence of practice that I went through intensively over many many years and on through certain breakthroughs in my energy system through certain kinds of classical processes of spiritual development I just started to see in this way and initially it was very very bizarre it happened after the astral visioning for quite a while and then there were other kinds of breakthroughs and I started to then start to see this kind of pure light vision and it has taken many years I have worked for many many years to refine and develop this sense what is being seen in pure light vision then this I'm going to leave you with this last concept now this is an interesting idea I think what it may simply be is the inverted domain of the physical so okay there's mind and body there's time and space to get a sense of what I might be describing if you're familiarize yourself with a mobius strip if you don't know a mobius strip maybe please check it out what it shows you is that you can take a membrane can actually invert inside and out and when you look at it it looks like it it's both not possible but it is possible and so this is showing you how something can turn inside out okay it's turning inside out that's the key thing and what I believe happens is when people go through the kind of developmental process that I've gone through what happens is is that the opening in the center of the system which is the heart that astral plane that opening enables one to have their energy system go through this zero point and for their perception to be turned and given access to what is inside out okay and that is what the mobius strip is showing you so you could think of it as there's three dimensions of space and one dimension of time here as it's often referred to and maybe what is happening here with this pure light vision is it is the inverse where one is interacting with three dimensions of time and one dimension of space and this would speak to why the way that the energy field is working at this level is deeply revealing of the non-local nature of mind because when I'm connecting into this kind of perception there is no difference if I am sitting right next to you or if you're sitting on the other side of the world the way that your field and our field interaction
