Affirmations provoke a positive state of mind.

Birth from a psychological field proven to change the mindset practices used to help people think differently about themselves using short statements of I,

I am or of positive intent.

They are repeated statements and one person makes of themselves and once they do change happens.

And so in this affirmation and the words that we speak in the statements that we declare,

We are healing ourselves.

This is a I am healing affirmation.

And I am lovable.

Now when you're ready,

I want you to take three deep breaths and listen to a biblical affirmation.

The scripture is Psalms 31.

And it reads,

In you,

O Lord,

I seek refuge.

Do not let me ever be put to shame in your righteousness,

Deliver me.

Incline your ear to me,

Rescue me speedily.

Be a rock of refuge for me,

A strong fortress to save me.

You are indeed my rock and my fortress.

For your name's sake leads me and guide me.

Take me out of the net that is hidden for me.

For you are my refuge.

Into your hand I commit my spirit.

You have redeemed me,

O Lord,

Faithful God.

And then the end of verse six says,

But I trust in the Lord.

I will exalt and rejoice in your steadfast love because you have seen my affliction.

You have taken heed of my adversaries and have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy.

You have set my feet in a broad place.

Be gracious to me,

O Lord,

For I am in distress.

My eye wastes away with grief.

My soul and body also,

For my life is spent with sorrow and my years with sighing.

My strength fails because of my misery and my bones waste away.

I am the scorn of all my adversaries.

In honor of my neighbors,

An object of dread to my acquaintances,

Those who see me in the street flee from me.

I have passed out of mine like one who is dead.

I have become like a broken vessel.

For I hear the whisperings of many terror around me as they scheme together against me,

As they plot to take my life.

But I trust in you,

O Lord.

Say,

I,

You are my God.

My times are in your hand.

Deliver me from the hand of my enemies and my prosecutors.

Let your face shine upon your servants.

And save me in your steadfast love.

Do not let me be put to shame,

O Lord,

For I call on you.

Let the wicked be put to shame.

Let them go dumbfounded to show.

Let the lying lips be stilled and that speak insolently against the righteous in pride and with contempt.

O,

O,

Abundant is your goodness that you have laid up for those who fear you and accomplish those who take refuge in you in sight of everyone.

In the shelter of your presence,

You hide them from the human plots.

You hold them safe under your shelter from contentious tongues.

Blessed be the Lord,

For He was wondrously shown His steadfast love to me.

When I was beset as a city under siege,

I said in my alarm,

I am driven afar from your sight.

But you heard my supplications when I cried out to you for help.

Love the Lord,

All of His saints.

The Lord preserves the faithful,

But abundantly repays the one who acts thoughtfully.

Be strong and let your heart take carriage,

All who wait for the Lord.

Psalms 31 I seek refuge.

I will exalt and rejoice in your steadfast love.

I trust in you,

O Lord.

On your healing journey,

Trust in the Lord.

Know that God hears your whisperings,

That God hears your silent cries.

God sees.

And God is walking with you.

My brother,

My sister,

Know that you are loved.

Know that you are in alignment with God.

Know that as you evolve bold and courageously throughout life,

Whatever ups or downs may come,

You are loved,

You are loved,

And you will always be lovable in the eyes of God.
