Relax your belly with gentle blubbery liptrills to the sound of a singing bowl, tuned to the frequency of Manipura Chakra, your navel energy centre, to harmonize the energies. The soft long liptrills gently vibrate your lips and diaphragm, your whole upper body will start to vibrate gently, like a loving massage from within. Would you like to try it out? Find a comfortable position, bring your hands on your tight or aching belly, and make relaxing bubble sounds with me.

Doing lip drills helps me when I have a tight stomach.

Maybe it will help you too.

The soft long lip drills gently vibrate your lips and diaphragm.

Your whole upper body vibrates gently,

Like a loving massage from within.

Would you like to try it out?

Find a comfortable,

Relaxed position.

If you like,

You can put your hands on your belly and make loving contact.

Then inhale gently and naturally and exhale letting your lips flutter and bubble with a soft B sound.

Again,

Gentle,

Natural inhale.

That's it.

Your lips are relaxed.

Your rows of teeth are loose.

Bring your index and middle fingers to your cheeks next to the corners of your mouth and move the skin loosely up and down with your fingers as you continue with your bubbling sounds.

Move the skin back and forth as you continue to bubble.

You can put your hands back on your belly or keep them by your mouth.

If your jaw feels a bit tense,

You can also gently massage your jaw and keep making your sounds.

Take a relaxed breath in and relax with the bubbling sound.

Your breath automatically deepens,

Becomes fuller and longer.

Just let it happen.

Don't force anything.

Only make your breath as long as it feels relaxed.

Otherwise your body will cramp up and can't resonate so well with the vibrations.

Bubble along with me a little longer.

How do you feel right now?

You can bubble along with me again from the beginning or continue on your own.

Sometimes I also look for a song that I like and bubble along with the melody in a relaxed way.

Wow, this was so amazing. I didn’t know of the term liptrills, nor it being connected to the stomach. Thank you for this wisdom. As an actor, I’ve always done this to help warm up the voice, relax the jaw, etc. I also do this before recording. But to now know the gut connection is so wonderful for me. Thank you so very much.

It was so fun, unique & calming. Initially I was feeling a bit conscious 🙈 making this sound but towards the end i loved feeling the vivrations. I was having period pain around my stomach & now it has reduced, my bidy is feeling centered. Thank you 😊
