This is for 2026 and we have two cards this year.
We have the Wheel of Fortune and the Magician.
So how did I find this?
I'm taking 2026 and adding it up together so 2 plus 0 plus 2 plus 6 equals 10 and that is the Wheel of Fortune card.
But we're going to even make that smaller.
We'll take that 10 and add them together.
1 plus 0 equals 1 which makes the Magician.
These are our two cards that will be with us the entire year and whose energy we can utilize in our favor.
I love this for us because the Wheel of Fortune and the Magician are really showing us where there's possibility this year.
It's about your timing versus forcing the timing and really truly your response is what is going to determine the outcome.
This is a year that not everything is going to be fully in your control but it's also a year where you're not powerless.
It's the meeting point where what's meant to shift is going to shift but you also get to choose how and what to do with it.
When we look at the Wheel of Fortune,
The Wheel of Fortune represents big changes,
Big cycles turning,
Things falling into motion whether you're ready or not.
Often I say this is a card that you want to try to flow with versus resist.
Resisting is what makes it hard and flowing is what makes it easier in a sense.
So in 2026 you might feel sudden openings but you also might feel unexpected endings.
You can feel directional changes.
You might have moments where your life is saying wait turn because this is the way now.
Are you willing to listen?
Are you willing to flow with this?
This all comes down to if you try to control it versus how you ride the energy.
The Magician,
Our second card of the year,
Is all about our intention and our ability to respond consciously but also intuitively.
The Magician holds all the tools and I often say it's wonderful to have the tools but you can just stand there and admire your tools or you can take action.
The Magician is about taking action.
It's about directing the energy instead of scattering it everywhere or just leaving it there to create some place for dust to land on.
It's about choosing aligned action versus frenetic effort.
It's one way I like to look at it.
So it's pretty incredible.
The Wheel is going to create all this opportunity and the Magician,
Us,
We're going to determine what is going to come of it.
So you might notice that opportunities will appear for you and it's not going to look the same for everyone but truly it's not about doing more.
It's about just doing the right thing at the right moment for you.
Now as we're talking about the two tarot cards,
It's hard not to talk about the Chinese lunar calendar because in 2025 we had the year of the snake and the year of the snake was all about shedding and letting go and it was rough for most of us.
So most of us are really welcoming in the year of the firehorse.
However,
The year of the firehorse does not start until mid-February.
So the beginning of this year,
January,
We are at the tail end of the year of the snake.
I like to envision it as it's the last part of the skin coming off the snake's tail.
So the snake is slithering away.
It's literally almost done with its full transformation.
A whole new skin layered but it needs to shake off the last bit.
So in January,
Instead of forcing it,
Forcing the last bit to fall away,
Why not just allow it?
It's at the tail end.
It's gonna fall away anyway.
So can you be with it?
Love it and gently say goodbye.
2026 already starting with a bang but we have everything we need for a magical beautiful year.
