I'm Solona Carlile and this is another edition of the Everyday Bliss for the Modern Woman Weekly Transmissions,
Created for the woman who is wildly devoted to choosing herself and living her desired life now instead of waiting until later.
I often speak about the dance of a lifetime,
Especially when it comes to our desires and how we relate to them.
Because I know there's a desire you have.
Yes,
That one.
The one that runs through your veins,
Moves you to your core,
And arouses your heart.
Like nothing else.
The one that may have dwindled down to barely an ember in the face of all your doubt and disbelief that it's even possible for you in this lifetime.
But it is still flickering in there.
It's still burning.
It's still hot.
The only question is if you are going to let it go all the way out or choose to fan its flames even brighter.
Most people are afraid to lean into their desire with all their heart for fear that it may not happen.
It's true it can feel safer to protect ourselves from the potential disappointment.
But here's the thing,
You don't know that it won't happen any more than you know that it will happen.
You don't actually have any more proof that it's unrealistic and out of reach than you have proof that it's literally closer than ever and just about to unfold in your experience.
Feel the truth of that and what it inspires in you.
One option is to never let yourself go there and just keep feeling disappointment ahead of time.
The other option is to allow yourself to lean into what has not yet happened yet with all your heart and be willing to risk and feel the potential disappointment rather than be afraid of it.
Part of the work is being willing to let go of any guarantee of it going a certain way,
Listening to the possibility of it being even better than you're imagining and hoping,
And then trusting that whatever does unfold is the most in service of your ultimate deepest desire.
However it takes shape.
An even bigger part of the work is knowing that you can and then trusting yourself to still create the life you want no matter what.
Because when you can do both of those,
You are then fully available for infinite possibility rather than continuing to assume impossibility by default.
You're then free to delight in your desires,
To your heart's content,
Breathe more life into them,
And give yourself permission to believe in what you cannot see and that you don't have proof and evidence for.
Simply because it feels so much better to be on the side of your desire rather than your doubt.
It always feels better to be and stay wide open in wonderment rather than to close down and brace yourself for defeat.
Whenever you can allow yourself to dance with the unknown in this way,
By opening a little more and for a little longer in the face of the unknown,
In the face of what you cannot see or prove,
Rather than turn your back and shrink your desires in the way you might be tempted to,
You can never lose.
You will always be winning.
You will be keeping that ember alive and burning brighter and brighter and brighter until it subsumes all doubt.
And that is the reward of believing anyways.
That is the reward of taking the risk of believing beyond what's right in front of you and believing instead in what is not yet seen.
Because ultimately it's the power of your belief that calls it forth from the invisible to the visible.
