Today I want to speak about beauty.
We are very used to see the external beauty in many things,
In people,
Objects,
Landscapes,
Environments.
We have an idea of beauty not only according to our own perspective but also according to our culture.
Also in our society the word beauty is very much associated with femininity,
Mostly related to body image.
In any way,
Whatever the kind of beauty,
It is something that attracts us,
Catches our attention and makes us stop and contemplate.
But what is,
In fact,
Beauty?
Is it some sort of idea that requires certain rules and obligations?
Is it something that we wear and then it fades away as we remove it?
Is it the tenth picture that we take in search of perfection?
Beauty can actually be all of that if we want it to be.
But beauty can be so much more if we allow it to be.
There is beauty in everything because beauty is the underneath of everything that we see and hear and touch.
Beauty is the essence,
The creation itself.
Maybe our eyes sometimes choose to see only certain beauties.
But beauty is something that can come from the entire nature in many ways.
Beauty is the light behind the scenes that makes the moon and the sun and the stars and the flowers and the trees and the animals and the people and everything shine and be so beautiful.
Beauty is the incredible force that gives life to everything,
Including us.
There is the potential for beauty in all of us.
We all express beauty and most of the times we are not even aware of that.
There is beauty in a genuine smile and there is beauty in sad tears as well.
There is beauty in the expression itself of whatever feeling that arises.
There is beauty in the moment that we arrive on this earth and in the moment that we leave.
We are the ones who bring beauty into our lives.
We are the ones who create beauty through our authenticity.
But this will always depend on our own perception.
If something is not as beautiful as we wanted it to be,
It is not because there is something wrong with that particular thing itself.
It is because we choose to see it in a limited way.
We choose to make it fit in some specific contours of beauty that we have created in our minds.
Beauty shows itself to us if we choose to see beyond.
If we choose to see not only with our eyes but also with our heart.
And when we do this,
We not only see beauty but we also feel beauty.
We then can see beauty even with our eyes closed.
