Where could I go from your spirit?

Where could I run and hide from your face?

If I go up to the heavens,

You're there.

If I go down to the realm of the dead,

You're there too.

If I fly with wings into the shining dawn,

You're there.

If I fly into the radiant sunset,

You're there waiting for me.

Wherever I go,

Your hand will guide me.

Your strength will empower me.

It's impossible to disappear from you.

It's impossible to ask the darkness to hide me.

For your presence is everywhere,

Bringing light into my night.

Bringing light into my darkness,

Bringing day into my night.

There is no such thing as darkness with you.

For you are light.

For you are the light.

The night to you is as bright as the day.

There is no difference between the two.

You formed my innermost being,

Shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside,

And wove them all together in my mother's womb.

You knit me together before I took my first breath.

You knit me together before I took my first breath.

I thank you,

Yahweh,

For making me so mysteriously complex.

I thank you that I am made with awe and wonder.

I thank you that I am made with awe and wonder.

I thank you that I am reverently wonderfully made.

Under fully made.

I thank you that there is nowhere I could go without you.

I thank you that you are always with me.

I thank you that there is nowhere I could go without you.

I thank you that there is nowhere I could go without you.
