Hello and welcome beautiful Insight Timer community.
Today we are on week 36 of our year of journaling.
And as always I have pulled a card from the Cosmic Journey Oracle by Yanique Silver and I got number 39.
Your effortless effort is fully required.
Interesting card and on the picture there is a wallet.
On one side I see a couple of credit cards.
However,
The credit cards have names like joy,
Mastery,
And vision.
So I went to the book to see his interpretation and it says,
Huh,
It's a complete paradox,
Right?
How can you provide your effortless effort?
As you play with the cosmic concepts you encounter in this Oracle,
You'll start to develop a sense of when to push and when to just allow.
There's a dance of action and surrendering,
Of doing and being.
By putting your full heart and 100% effort into something,
You actually win.
Putting in the work,
If it's from a true place of meaning,
Is itself your reward.
It's only the attachment to results that creates disappointment,
Frustration,
Depression,
Etc.
Think about it.
When you have expectations and they aren't met,
You're upset,
Right?
And if you're waiting on outside praise or recognition,
You're always beholden to it.
By having no attachment,
You are free.
Your full effortless effort is also required because we're all in this together.
What is called for now is a solution for everyone,
Every sentient being,
Every stakeholder on the planet.
And our journaling question,
When is the last time I have felt in a state of flow and effortless effort?
Well,
Of course,
You know where that is for me.
It's what I do on Insight Timer.
And I have to admit,
In the beginning as a new teacher,
I was very attached to the outcome.
I wanted recognition.
I wanted people to let me know that my work meant something to them.
I was looking for that validation.
And I think I got stuck on that for a while,
Especially because it's our ego.
Our ego needs that.
And I finally got to a place where I realized I just had to do what I enjoyed.
I enjoy journaling.
I enjoy collaborating with other teachers.
And as I fell more into that flow,
It really did become effortless for me.
Don't get me wrong.
There's a lot of work involved behind the scenes,
But it brings me a lot of satisfaction.
And I have really been enjoying my journey on Insight Timer.
So I really love this question.
And there's another suggestion here.
It says for the next 24 hours,
Put your full effortless effort into one project.
Record what happens.
I think that's a great idea.
I'm going to repeat the journaling question.
I'm going to put some time on the clock,
And we're going to do some journaling.
So the question was,
When is the last time I have felt in a state of flow and effortless effort?
All right,
My friends.
I am excited to hear what you have to say about this prompt.
I really enjoyed writing.
It really sparked a lot in me.
Made me think of a lot of the things that I do where I am looking for validation or I have attached myself to the outcome.
And again,
It's human nature.
It's a hard thing not to.
I think just by writing about it and thinking about it,
I can become more aware and keep working on that one.
Keep trying to detach from the outcome and just do the things that bring me joy.
Yesterday,
I pulled a card from another deck that I love by Rumi.
And one of the things it said was to just play,
Just have fun.
And that's how I look at what I do on Insight Timer.
Obviously,
I'm not attached to the outcome because I have a full-time job,
Which pays the bills.
And I know that's not always an option for everyone.
But fortunately for me,
My work on Insight Timer is something that I do for fun.
I don't have to attach to the outcome because if something doesn't work,
If someone doesn't like what I'm doing here,
It's okay.
I can keep going.
It's not going to be the end of it for me.
So I hope that this prompt gave you a lot to reflect on.
And I hope that you will share some of that with me in your comments.
As always,
I love hearing from all of you.
I hope that you're having an amazing week.
I hope you have an amazing day.
And I look forward to meeting you back here next week for week 37.
Until then,
My friends,
Keep shining.
