Hello,

My name is Viola,

And welcome to this sleep story I have written for all of you,

Especially for the little dreamers who are getting ready for sleep.

The story is called The Bug and the Red Door.

It's about a tiny,

Tiny bug who lived near a hill where a big house stood,

With a red door the color of a ladybug.

And one winter night,

It had snowed,

And snowed,

And snowed all through the night,

And the ground was totally white,

And a little bug was freezing cold.

He shivered from his tiny toes up to his little head.

Oh dear,

He whispered,

I need somewhere snuggly instead.

And then he saw it,

The big house with the red door the color of a ladybug.

He wiggled,

And he squiggled,

And then he wiggled some more and flattened down his body so he could fit right under the red door.

The door with the color of a ladybug.

Inside the little bug inched across the shiny floor so slowly,

For he had never been inside a house,

Not ever before.

Soon,

His tiny feet found something soft.

So snuggly,

Oh my,

He sighed and went fast to sleep.

When morning came in the big old house,

A little girl woke up and bounced down the stairs,

And then she saw the bug who was asleep on the snuggly rug.

She giggled,

Mommy,

Look at the bug,

And Mommy said,

He's just resting,

My love.

We must help the bug find his way back home.

So they found a itsy bitsy box and placed him inside until the snow went buh-bye.

When the sun came out,

They carried the tiny box outside and placed it on its side on the green,

Green grass.

And then they whispered,

Good-bye,

Little bug,

Good-bye,

And the little bug blinked,

And then he hummed,

Thank you,

He said to his new-found friends,

And he waved,

And he set himself on the path,

And he headed back home to his family and his friends.
