Welcome.
This meditation is for the quiet pressure to feel good,
Calm or positive.
For the next few minutes you don't need to feel better.
You're invited to rest in something simpler than happiness,
Neutrality.
So begin by noticing how you feel right now.
Not how you think you should feel,
Just what's actually present.
There may be emotions or numbness or a mix of sensations without a clear label.
And all of that is allowed.
So silently say to yourself,
I'm allowed to feel neutral.
Notice if there is a release.
Notice if there's resistance.
Many of us learn that neutral means stuck,
Unmotivated or even wrong.
But neutral is simply the absence of alarm.
The body is not bracing.
The mind is not pushing.
Bring attention now to the breath and let it move naturally.
No effort to deepen or slow it.
And notice how breathing doesn't need enthusiasm to continue.
It doesn't even need positivity.
Feel the body resting between impulses,
Between reactions.
Neutral is not emptiness,
It's space.
And if thoughts arise trying to improve the moment,
See if they can be allowed to pass without engagement.
Nothing needs to be added.
So rest here for a few breaths.
Not excited,
Not disappointed,
Just present.
Notice how neutral feels safe,
Predictable and even manageable.
There's no demand in neutrality,
No performance.
As the meditation comes to a close,
Gently widen your awareness.
Feel the body.
Feel the room and the sounds around you.
And as you return to your day,
You don't have to feel good to be okay.
Neutral is enough.
Good work today and namaste.
