Let's begin by finding stillness together.

Lie down in a position that feels comfortable and supportive to you.

Now just gently close your eyes and give yourself permission to settle in.

Take a quick moment to adjust anything you need to,

Smooth out your clothing where it might have bunched up,

Shift the blanket so it's not tangled or reposition your pillow to better support your head or neck.

Just find that little bit of extra comfort so your body can really let go.

Now bring a gentle awareness to your spine,

Imagine lengthening it from the very crown of your head all the way down to your tailbone,

Creating just a little more space for your breath to flow.

And with that awareness let go of any obvious tension you might be holding in your jaw,

In your shoulders and in your hands.

Now bring your attention to your breath,

Don't try to change it yet,

Just notice it.

The cool air entering your nostrils and the warm air leaving.

Now breathe deeply into your belly,

Feel your lungs expand and your ribs widen and as you exhale allow your whole body to sigh,

To sink fully into the surface beneath you.

Feel how it holds you steady and supportive.

Inhale again,

Slow and deep and as you exhale release any need to do or to achieve.

This is your time,

A time simply to be,

To rest,

To listen,

To receive.

With your next breath as you exhale let go of all expectations,

Feeling any lingering tension melting away.

Let yourself arrive fully in this moment.

This meditation is an invitation,

An invitation to connect with the gentle spirit within you,

It is a journey inward to meet the quiet sacred presence that rests at the very core of your being.

You will be guided to soften,

To let go and most importantly to listen,

To uncover more of who you truly are beneath the noise,

To release what no longer serves you and let it drift away on your breath and to rest,

Truly rest in the boundless love that has been with you all along.

Now with your heart open and your mind at ease imagine yourself standing at the threshold of a deep and quiet wisdom,

A wisdom that has always lived within you,

Simply waiting for you to become still enough to hear it and from this place of stillness let these words wash over you,

Not as a regret but as a tender remembering.

There has always been a truth waiting for you,

A truth that life was never about creating a name for yourself but uncovering the beautiful name you already carried.

There has always been a truth that the first step,

The only step that truly matters is inward,

To sit in stillness,

Eyes closed,

Heart open,

Listening for the whisper of truth already alive within you.

There has always been a truth that in those moments you felt empty,

Lost or uncertain of your worth,

What you truly needed was to pause,

To breathe,

To meet the loving presence of your own soul.

From this sacred meeting everything else could flow,

No achievement was ever required to prove your belonging.

There has always been a truth that chasing perfection is like chasing a shimmering mirage leaving only thirst behind and that the longing to fit in only covered your true self with a heavy mask.

There has always been a truth that your belonging is found through vulnerability,

That the parts you tried to hide,

The cracks,

The questions,

The doubts,

The fears,

The softness,

These were never floors,

They were doorways home.

There has always been a truth that the longing you felt,

That restless searching in your heart was never for something outside of you,

It was for the home you had always carried within.

No relationship,

No success,

No external answer could ever fill that ache,

It could only be soothed by a remembering,

A returning to yourself.

There has always been a truth that your past was never meant to define you,

That shame was never meant to rest upon your shoulders,

That every detour,

Every resistance,

Every beautiful mess you made was not failure,

It was only a forgetting,

A temporary blindness to the magnificence within you.

Even in your darkest moments,

When doubt clouded your vision,

When pain felt too heavy to bear,

When you turned from stillness,

You were not abandoned.

You were being gently,

Lovingly called,

Not to escape,

But to go deeper.

And at the very centre of your being,

You would not find emptiness,

But an infinite radiant source of love and clarity.

And now,

In this stillness,

You can know.

You can know that your value was never something to prove,

Or earn,

Or chase.

You can know that your worth is inherent,

Woven into the very fabric of who you are,

It has been here,

Untouched,

All along.

Within you is a light,

A wellspring of wisdom,

A presence that no success,

No validation,

No opinion,

No possession could ever diminish or enhance.

It simply is.

And you simply are.

And from this place of knowing your inherent worth,

Let this final truth settle in your spirit.

I wish someone had told you.

I wish someone had told you that you would find another reality,

A parallel world of alchemy where ashes turn to beauty,

Pain transforms into purpose and grief opens into a quiet abiding joy.

I wish someone had told you that finding your true self would feel like a thousand pounds falling from your shoulders.

That here,

You would be guided by your purpose and your values,

Finally free from the weight of who you were told you should be.

That here,

In this sacred space within,

You would discover the great gift you carry,

Meant to be shared with the world.

Know that the beauty you long to see has always been waiting in the mirror of your own soul,

Still shimmering,

Pure and untouched by the world.

Know that the refiner's fire,

Though painful,

Is a place of birthing,

Not destruction.

Pain refines,

Removes masks and brings forth your unbreakable radiant light.

When you face the darkness,

Your own light becomes undeniable.

Know that the path to your true self is,

And always will be,

The path of love.

That there is a light,

A shadowless radiant light,

So bright it gently exposes fear,

Not to shame you,

But to free you.

Here,

The ordinary becomes extraordinary,

A single flower can open into a whole world,

The stars feel like gentle guides,

Everything begins to feel sacred.

I wish someone had told you,

There is a love you never have to perform for,

A love deeper than the ocean,

More infinite than the sky,

More constant than the tides,

A place of rest for your weary soul,

A love where you can simply be.

I wish someone had told you that you have never,

For a single moment,

Been alone.

Finding your true self is finding your reference point,

Your north star,

Both within you and beyond you.

Know that in discovering your true self,

You discover the very source of this light within you.

At the silent centre of your being,

You meet your creator.

He is the radiant sun,

You are the moon,

Designed to reflect back his infinite love.

The spark in your core was kindled from his heart.

You were tenderly woven together from the very fabric of love.

You were made from love,

By love,

For love.

It is his radiant light that illuminates your soul,

His infinite heart that beats within your own.

He is the only one who could ever determine your worth and his name for you is priceless.

You are part of a story that began in his heart and returns to his heart,

A never-ending story with a divine purpose written for you.

Know that you have always been guided,

Every twist in the road,

Every ache,

Every longing has been leading you gently,

Always,

Toward home.

Now you know.

Rest here,

Rest in this knowing,

Rest in this love,

Breathe into this knowing.

Breathe,

Gently relax your jaw,

Soften the palms of your hands,

Uncurl your fingers,

Relax the soles of your feet,

Breathe.

With your next inhale,

Imagine drawing in a beautiful golden light,

Let this light flow into your mind like a gentle cleansing wind.

And as you exhale,

Allow your mind to soften and release,

Let your breath carry away all of the noise,

All that is restless,

All that is heavy.

With each breath,

It's as if the clouds are parting,

Revealing a perfectly clear,

Boundless blue sky.

Now,

There is nothing to hold onto now,

Nothing to prove,

Only being,

Only presence,

Breathe.

Now,

Gently bring your awareness to the centre of your chest,

To your heart space,

And breathe.

Feel the gentle rise of your chest,

The subtle expanding of your ribs as they create space within you.

Beneath your ribs,

Beneath the steady rhythm of your breath,

There is something deeper,

A quiet,

Sacred presence.

Here,

In the stillness,

A spark glows within you,

See it,

Small and brilliant,

Glowing like the first light of dawn.

Feel its warmth,

A gentle pulse,

The eternal ember God himself placed within you as he whispered you into being.

This is your divine essence,

The place where heaven meets earth within you,

The heart of God within you,

Breathe into it.

With every inhale,

Feel it grow,

A golden warmth radiating through your chest,

Illuminating the deepest,

Darkest parts of you.

Feel it swirl through your ribs,

Spiralling outwards in gentle waves,

Like ripples across still water.

With every exhale,

Simply surrender to it,

Let this light expand,

Let it fill your body with a sacred energy,

A quiet hum.

Let it travel up into your neck,

Your head,

Your arms,

Your hands,

Let it travel down into your belly,

Your hips,

Your legs,

Your feet,

Grounding you like roots sinking into deep,

Rich,

Sun warmed soil.

Let the light rise until it overflows,

Flooding your whole being,

Surrounding you in a radiant cocoon.

This light is love,

It is peace,

It is joy,

It is God within you,

Breathe dear one.

And now listen,

I want you to know,

Beneath the surface of your thoughts,

Beyond the noise of your mind,

There is a deeper rhythm,

Steady,

Eternal,

Whole.

This is the song of your soul,

This is the voice of God whispering,

I am here,

I have always been here.

Feel it cradle you,

Holding you in perfect safety.

Feel it pulse with an ancient knowing,

As if the entire universe is breathing with you,

Through you.

This is the sacred centre within you,

Where love is untouched,

Joy is unshaken and peace is unwavering.

This is where you meet yourself as you truly are.

This is where you meet God,

Not in striving,

Not in effort,

But in stillness,

In surrender,

In the quiet certainty that you have always been held.

This is where you meet the love that created you,

That chose you with divine purpose.

This is the love that breaks the chains,

That have kept you in the shadows and set you free,

That binds your wounds,

Speaks life to your marrow and whispers hope to your broken heart.

This is the love that will carry your deepest burdens,

That sees beyond your flaws and offers grace.

This is the love that will wash away the guilt that clings like smoke.

This is the love that will weave a robe of light out of your shroud of shame,

That will remove every mask and reveal the beauty that was placed in you before the world began.

This is the love that will raise you up,

Alive,

Closed in grace,

Radiant and free.

This is the love where your soul will find a deep unwavering peace.

This is the love that will never leave you,

The love that will guide you,

The perfect love that drives out all fear.

Rest here,

Soak in this love,

There is nowhere else to go,

Nothing else to do,

Simply be held by this love.

This,

Dear one,

Is home and in this space you are not searching,

You are remembering.

Feel the presence of God's love filling you,

Resting in your heart,

Your body and your soul.

You are a bearer of this light,

A vessel of this love.

Feel it,

Let it expand through every part of your being,

Dissolving any remaining barriers,

Any last fragments of separation.

Surrender to this love,

Knowing there is nothing to fix,

Nothing to prove.

You are already whole,

You are already home,

You are exactly where you need to be,

You are never ever alone.

Rest here a moment longer,

Soaking in the truth that this divine presence lives within you and is always with you.

Now,

Gently begin to bring your awareness back to the room around you.

Slowly start to wriggle your fingers and toes,

Feel the weight of your body on the surface beneath you.

Notice the temperature of the air on your skin,

Notice any sounds in the room around you.

And when you are ready,

Gently flutter your eyes open.

Carry this love with you,

Let it be the compass that guides you,

Take this deep sacred presence into the world with you.

You are held,

You are known and you are loved.

Thank you for meditating with me.
