The good,
Now,
Pause.
Questioning.
Your thoughts.
It's a simplified Katie Byron question there.
Actually,
It's just one question.
She had five,
I believe,
Four or five.
We'll go over that in a longer call or a longer video.
But this one question is quite powerful.
So let's get to it.
Next time you find yourself having stressful thoughts or demoralizing or just negative thinking.
Always.
Pause.
And say or think.
Good.
So that you can interrupt that pattern and give yourself the best opportunity.
To Really just think about what's going on inside your mind.
In the powerful question that can come and help that is Is this thought true?
So say you're thinking,
I'm lazy or.
.
.
I need to get up off this couch.
And you ask,
Is this thought true?
Without forcing the answer,
You may notice that that wasn't your thought to begin with.
That's a program from whomever saying that you are lazy,
You need to get off the couch.
What if you had just worked a 100,
000 hour work week in five days?
Are you really being lazy or are you taking care of yourself?
The invitation.
To ask yourself,
Is this true?
And see what shifts.
Without forcing the answer,
See what comes up.
Believe it or not,
You don't have to believe everything you think.
Honestly,
There are more negative thoughts that run through most people's mind than there are positive.
So if your thoughts are making you feel.
Less than.
That's a really good cue or clue.
To pause and actually question them.
When you begin to question your thoughts,
There's something magical that happens They actually stop controlling you.
And you begin.
To Free yourself.
From whatever power they have over you.
Is that exciting or what?
So give it a try.
Pause and question,
Is this true?
Is that thought true?
Is this thought true?
You can even do that with other people.
Like,
Is their opinion true?
Is what they're thinking about me true?
But that's a whole other exercise for now.
The main focus is how are you treating yourself?
Question your thoughts.
If you feel open or called,
Come back and share what you've learned.
Always come back if you have any questions.
I am here to support you.
That said,
May you create the most amazing now moments.
Until I see you next time,
Make every moment count.
Ciao for now.
