Hello and thank you for being here.
Let's begin our meditation.
Make sure you're comfortable.
Get into a position where you feel completely relaxed.
You could be sitting with your back supported.
You could be lying down.
Close your eyes.
Relax your forehead.
Let any tensions melt away.
Let your shoulders drop.
Now let's take a deep breath in.
And then a long breath out.
Breathe into your belly.
Feel it rise as you inhale.
And breathe out as it gently deflates again.
Take another deep breath in.
And then let it all out.
And now another deep breath in.
And the longest breath out.
As you are breathing,
Imagine that the air all around you is pure golden magic filled with love.
You breathe in this magical golden air and you let it flow through your nostrils and down into your lungs to fill you up with golden loving energy.
Hold your breath gently and feel the golden light flow through your entire body.
Along your arms,
To your hands and to the tips of your fingers,
Down your torso and down through your legs to the ends of your toes.
And then you breathe it all out in a long breath.
And again,
Breathe in the golden light and feel it flow all around your body.
Keep breathing in this way as you relax into this golden energy that is all around you and that fills you.
Feel yourself breathing into your tummy.
Feel your belly rise as you take deep breaths in and feel it lower as you exhale deeply.
With each breath,
You let go of any strains or tensions.
With every exhale,
You relax a little more deeply.
You are feeling more and more relaxed.
You are washed with a feeling of peace and contentment.
Your worries are melting away.
Now,
Picture yourself on the edge of a beautiful green forest.
There's a pathway which leads into the forest.
Imagine yourself walking along this moss-covered path into the forest.
Perhaps your feet are bare and you feel the softness of the moss stroke your feet as you slowly tread along this path.
As you inhale,
You notice that the trees on either side of you smell fresh as you place one foot in front of the other and feel the carpet of soft moss underfoot.
It is gently cushioning the soles of your feet and you walk slowly,
Inhaling the scent of the undergrowth.
You feel at peace.
You hear the leaves of the trees very gently rustling on the branches as a warm and slightly cooling breeze blows them.
Birds are singing in the branches above and you feel at one with nature.
You continue to walk feeling sheltered,
Nurtured,
Safe in the forest until you come to a clearing in front of you.
There's a beautiful shimmering lake.
It sparkles under the sun.
It is turquoise blue and crystal clear.
You sit down on the mossy bank and gaze out onto the gently rippling lake.
You are comfortable and feel a wave of peace flow through you.
You sit for a while enjoying this feeling of lightness.
You are here now in this beautiful place.
You see the water sparkling before you.
You hear the waves gently lap on the sides of the bank in and out in time with your breath.
The air feels warm on your face and you taste the freshness and enjoy the perfume of this green and peaceful space.
Breathe in this feeling of peace.
This is your place.
This is your space.
Know that here you are relaxed and free.
This is a place you can return to whenever you want to.
Whenever you would like to be taken to a peaceful place just for you.
Ready.
Feel the breath in your body.
Inhale and be aware of your breath making your tummy full.
Exhale and feel your tummy flatten again.
For now it is time to remember where you are.
It is time to gently reawaken and be in the present moment in the real world.
Know that you can return to this special place whenever you'd like some moments of peace and calm.
And now open your eyes and look around.
Feel your fingers and give them a wiggle.
Move your toes.
Stretch your body.
Curve your lips into a smile.
You are back.
You are safe.
You are in the real world.
