Good evening,

It's Gina here.

Tonight we're joining Leo on his adventure to Venus,

The planet that glows like a golden star in our evening sky.

So snuggle in,

Get cosy and warm,

And let's begin.

The night air was soft and quiet,

And the garden shimmered faintly under the moonlight.

Leo's silver rocket stood waiting among the flowers,

Its sides reflecting the stars above.

He climbed inside and made himself comfortable in the puffy set.

The control lights blinked softly.

Leo pressed a little blue button and whispered,

Let's visit Venus,

The second planet from the sun.

The rocket gave a gentle hum,

A sound like a purring cat,

And rose smoothly into the air.

Up past the clouds,

Through the cool upper sky,

And into the darkness sprinkled with stars.

Below him,

Earth faded slowly into the distance.

Above,

The stars seemed to stretch open like a vast,

Glittering garden.

After a while,

Leo spotted it,

Venus.

It looked bright and golden,

Glowing even more brilliantly than the stars around it.

Some people call it the Morning Star,

But Leo knew it was really a world covered in thick,

Swirling clouds.

He guided his rocket closer,

And that golden glow grew stronger,

Wrapping everything in soft,

Honey-colored light.

As he entered the upper clouds,

The rocket's lights reflected through the mist.

It felt like flying through a dream.

The air outside shimmered with golden and pale pink swirls,

As if the sky itself were gently breathing.

Wow,

Leo whispered,

It's like floating in a sunset.

The rocket glided deeper through the cloud layers,

Moving slowly and silently.

Soft flashes of lightning flickered far below,

Glowing gently,

Never frightening,

Just adding a little sparkle to the mist.

Leo watched the clouds drift and twist,

Slowly and gracefully.

They didn't rush or push,

They simply moved with the air,

Always changing,

Always calm.

He leaned back in his seat and let his shoulders relax.

The hum of the rocket and the rhythm of the clouds blended together,

Slow,

Gentle,

And steady.

Leo closed his eyes and imagined that his breath was a soft,

Golden breeze.

With every inhale,

He drew in the glow of Venus,

Warm,

Peaceful golden light.

And with every exhale,

He sent out cool silver mist,

Letting go of any busy thoughts,

Worries,

Or discomfort in his body.

He whispered quietly,

Breathing in,

I fill with golden light,

And breathing out,

I let go of all of my worries.

You can join Leo now if you'd like.

You can imagine the golden light from Venus as you breathe it into your body,

And the silver mist as you breathe out any worries or bothers.

Let's take a few breaths together now.

Breathing in the golden light,

Breathing out,

Letting worries go.

Breathing in,

Filling your body with calm,

Breathing out,

Letting go.

The golden glow faded into dusky lavender as Venus's night approached,

The planet settling into stillness.

Leo took one last slow breath in and out,

Smiling softly.

When it was time to go,

The rocket turned gently upwards,

Gliding through the thinning clouds.

The last rays of golden light stretched across the horizon,

Waving goodbye.

Good night,

Venus,

Leo whispered.

The rocket rose higher and higher until the mist thinned and the stars appeared again,

Thousands of tiny lights twinkling like fireflies in space.

Below,

Venus shone like a small golden pearl,

Glowing softly against the darkness.

Soon,

The familiar blue glow of Earth appeared below.

Leo's rocket floated down through the dark sky,

Slipping quietly back into the garden.

The flowers swayed gently as he stepped out,

Their petals catching the faint silver light.

The air smelled cool and sweet,

A little like the clouds of Venus.

Leo tiptoed back inside,

Climbed into bed and pulled the blanket up to his chin.

He could still feel the calm rhythm of the clouds in his breath.

He took a deep breath in and a slow breath out.

In,

Golden calm,

Out,

Letting go.

His whole body felt light,

Peaceful and full of quiet joy.

If you've enjoyed this journey with Leo,

Perhaps you'd like to join us again tomorrow night,

When Leo will be visiting Earth's moon.

Until then,

Good night my friend.
