Good morning.

Welcome to your daily grounding meditation to start your day off on the right foot.

My name is Daniel and I'm so grateful to be here with you today.

Let's begin by finding either a seated position or lying down,

Making sure that the spine is straight.

Closing the eyes down,

Begin to tune into your natural breathing,

In and out through your nose,

Following the breath all the way down the spine as you breathe in,

Opening the mouth,

Sighing it back out,

Just taking notice of any qualities of the breath this morning,

Any smells in the air,

The temperature of the air,

Continuing to follow the breath in and out.

Begin to place your awareness on the base of your spine,

The area between your hip bones,

Where your root chakra resides.

Take a deep breath in,

Sending the air all the way down the spine into your root chakra,

And following the air all the way back out.

Take another deep breath in through the nose,

Following the air all the way down the spine,

Feeling the hip bones expand,

And as you exhale,

Imagine a red ball of energy residing in this space.

With each inhale,

Imagine this red ball growing brighter and expanding,

And as you exhale,

Imagine a thick tree root growing out of the base of your spine,

Down through the floor.

As you inhale down your spine,

Imagine this ball of energy expanding,

Glowing with red bright light,

And as you exhale,

A thick root,

Now going down through the earth,

Traveling thousands of miles down.

As you inhale,

This red ball of energy gets brighter,

And as you exhale,

The root grows longer and stronger,

Now reaching the center core of the earth,

Firmly wrapping around the hot magma core.

As you breathe in down the spine,

Feeling this red ball of energy,

It expands and grows brighter.

As you exhale,

The root gets stronger,

Now as wide as your body,

Firmly tethering you to Mother Earth.

Imagine this cord growing out of the base of your spine,

Traveling thousands of miles down,

Securing you firmly to Earth's energy.

On your next inhale,

Breathe in this energy,

Feeling this connection up from the earth,

Filling your root chakra,

And as you exhale,

Release anything that's no longer serving you.

Inhaling love and positivity,

Exhaling worries,

Stress,

Any self-doubts.

Breathing in,

Feeling the positivity and love flowing from Mother Earth,

And as you breathe out,

Releasing tension,

Releasing doubts.

Continue breathing in and out through the nose,

Visualizing this grounding cord,

Taking comfort in knowing Mother Earth is always here to support us with what we need,

And to cleanse any energy that's no longer serving us.

Continue breathing,

Being gentle with any thoughts that may arise,

Allowing them to pass,

Returning your awareness back to your breath.

Feeling this grounding cord firmly tethering you to the wonderful energy of Mother Earth,

Visualizing the connection,

Feeling the love with every inhale,

Feeling the body and mind relax with every exhale.

As you begin your day today,

Take this energy with you.

I encourage you to return back to your breathing,

Visualizing your grounding cord,

Coming back to this calm,

Peaceful place.

Take one more deep breath into the heart space,

Opening the mouth and sighing it all out.

Gently opening the eyes.
