This is 15 minute somatic meditation for self-trust.
My name is Gem,
I am here from Sol and Soma and it is my mission to help you connect with the deepest,
Softest,
Most nourishing form of self-trust that helps you feel so powerful.
So begin by finding a comfortable seat,
Sitting upright,
With a beautiful straight spine and elongated neck and take a slow,
Easy breath in through your nose and gently sigh it out through your mouth.
Let's do that again,
Inhale into your heart space,
Exhale softening into the ground.
Once more,
Even slower this time,
Inhale through your heart,
Exhale.
There is nothing to fix,
Nowhere to go,
Nothing to perform.
Just this moment,
Just you,
Just your breath.
You're allowed to land here,
To feel yourself here,
To return to you.
As you breathe,
Begin to guide each inhale directly into your chest,
Directly into the centre of your heart and notice how each exhale softens the space around it,
Breathing into your heart and letting go from your heart.
Each breath tells your nervous system,
I am safe,
I am held.
Let this rhythm lull you inward,
Let it draw you back into the truth of who you are,
Beneath the noise,
Beneath the doubt.
Let your shoulders drop,
Let your belly soften,
Let your jaw release as you breathe in and out.
Now,
Notice the space in your body that feels comfortable,
Safe or even neutral,
Some place steady.
It might be your hands,
Your thighs,
Your belly or your spine,
Anywhere to you that feels comforting and calm.
Don't overthink it,
Just allow your awareness to land there and as you breathe,
Imagine this place becoming warm,
Soothing,
Steady,
Like a warm ember from the fire glowing within.
This is your resource,
Your anchor,
Your safe space.
This is the place inside of you that remembers,
Stay with it,
Breathe into it,
Let it grow.
You don't have to do anything,
Just rest your attention in this steady place and let it hold you.
Now,
Imagine this warmth,
This inner ember beginning to spread,
Glowing from within you,
Soft,
Luminous,
Golden,
Filling your belly,
Your ribs,
Your heart,
Spilling out into your chest,
Your shoulders,
Down your arms,
Let it rise into your throat,
Your jaw and find the space between your eyes and the space behind your eyes until your whole body is gently bathed in this warm,
Ember glow,
This light,
This is you,
This is your essence,
Your power,
Your truth,
You didn't have to go looking for it,
You just had to remember that it was there inside of you all along.
Now,
As your body softens into this light,
Let these words land,
Not just in your mind,
But in your very being,
In your bones,
Let these words become your inner voice.
I trust myself,
I trust the pace I'm moving at,
I trust that my path is unfolding in perfect timing,
I trust my body,
Who always tells me the truth,
I trust the part of me that knows even when I can't explain how I know,
I trust that rest is sacred,
I trust my inner yes and I trust my inner no,
I trust that my intuition is ancient and I was born with everything that I need,
I trust myself.
Now,
Imagine yourself just a little further ahead in time,
A version of you who deeply trust themselves,
Watch them move through their day,
Decisive,
Intentional,
Devotional,
Unbothered by the noise,
Unshaken by the fear,
This version of you knows what matters,
They lead from the heart,
Speaking your truth and radiating quiet power,
This version of you always lands on their feet,
Opportunities are coming up at the right moments and there is a sense of ease that permeates their entire being,
That version of you is already here,
Already alive inside of you,
This moment,
This breath,
This is where that reality begins,
With self-trust,
Anchor that feeling into your body,
Notice where it lands and allow that sensation to ripple through you,
Beginning to come back to this space,
Back to the room,
Back to here and now,
Feel the surface beneath you,
Feel your hands,
Your breath,
Your aliveness,
Placing one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly and whisper to yourself,
I am here,
Take one more deep inhale into your heart and a long slow exhale to ground it in,
You've just remembered what's always been true,
Welcome home my love,
Welcome home.
If this meditation moves something in you,
I invite you to stay with it,
Spend some time journaling in reflection and notice what shifts,
Play this again tomorrow and the next day,
Let it become a devotional practice and do it for 21 days and see what happens when you continuously show up for yourself like this,
You're never alone in this,
Welcome home love,
You've always been the one you were waiting for.
