Awakening Your Inner Vision.
This meditation was designed to help you activate and balance your sixth energy center,
The Third Eye Chakra.
This chakra is associated with intuition,
Insight,
And inner wisdom.
By opening and aligning this chakra,
You can enhance your perception and gain a deeper understanding of your inner self and the world around you.
Begin by finding a quiet and comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.
Sit in a cross-legged position or in a chair with your feet flat on the ground.
Keep your back straight but relaxed and place your hands on your knees,
Palms facing upward.
Allow your eyes to gently begin to close and take a few deep,
Cleansing breaths.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Filling your lungs,
And exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any stress or tension.
Visualize roots extending from the base of your spine deep into the earth,
Connecting you to its stable and nurturing energy.
Feel yourself rooted and secure.
Shift your awareness to the space between your eyebrows,
Often referred to as the Third Eye.
Imagine a deep indigo or dark blue light glowing softly in this area,
Emanating from the front and the back of your head.
Begin to chant silently or aloud the mantra,
Ommmm,
Focusing on the vibration it creates in your Third Eye area.
Repeat this sacred sound several times,
Allowing the vibration to resonate and cleanse your Third Eye.
Repeat the following affirmation silently or audibly.
I trust my inner wisdom and intuition.
I see clearly with my Third Eye.
I am open to receiving higher knowledge and insight.
Imagine a vibrant,
Spinning indigo or dark blue lotus flower at your Third Eye center.
Picture it slowly opening,
Revealing an eye that sees beyond the physical world.
As you continue to focus on your Third Eye,
Deepen your breath.
Inhale through your nose for a count of four.
Hold for a count of four.
Exhale for a count of four.
Hold for another count of four.
Inhale two,
Three,
Four.
Hold two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale two,
Three,
Four.
Hold two,
Three,
Four.
Repeat this cycle for a few minutes,
Feeling the energy in your Third Eye intensify with each breath.
Upon completion of your current breath cycle,
Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Now,
In the stillness of your meditation,
Ask for guidance or insight on any question or concern you have.
Trust that your Third Eye will provide you with intuitive answers.
Spend a few moments in silent reflection,
Allowing any images,
Thoughts,
Or sensations to flow naturally.
Be receptive to the wisdom of your Third Eye.
Take a moment to express gratitude for the wisdom and insights you've received.
When you feel called,
Gently bring your awareness back to your physical surroundings.
Wiggle your fingers and toes and take any slow and small movements that feel good and right for your body.
When you feel ready,
Allow your eyes to slowly open.
Remember that regular practice of this Third Eye chakra meditation can help you strengthen your intuition,
Gain clarity,
And develop a deeper connection to your inner self.
