Hello,

I'm Jenny B and welcome.

This short meditation is here for you to meet the new day with ease and peace.

Close your eyes if it's safe to do so and let's begin.

You awake slowly,

The warmth of the night still lingering on your skin.

You rise and your feet touch the floor,

Skin to cool earth.

Through a doorway or a dream you see rising soft mist in a leafy woodland clearing.

The air feels damp and fresh on your skin,

Breathe in its sweet cool air.

The trees rise high above you,

Their leaves turning to the light as the sunlight gently filters down,

Dappled,

Shifting,

Alive.

The air is delicious,

Centred with damp earth,

Leaf mulch hundreds of years deep,

A sweet earthy breath like the missing vitamins for your soul.

Breathe deeply.

Beneath your feet the ground is soft and springy,

Layered with the stories of the forest.

A nearby stream bubbles quietly,

It's crystal clear and filled with the light that nature replenished you.

This place has its own clock,

Its own way of knowing dawn and dusk.

You're welcome here to connect,

To absorb,

Connect any time.

Let's take some deep breaths in this new day and exhale yesterday for that is behind you.

And again,

Invigorating,

Life-giving breath in and exhale at your own pace.

Let the forest breathe with you.

The morning has arrived,

Let it meet you gently.

Set an intention for the day or simply rest in this feeling of being rooted,

Remembered and alive.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes and feel your feet on the earth and start your day afresh.

Go gently into your day,
