Welcome.

Thank you for joining me here today.

I'm Kate and I'd like to just start by inviting you to just get yourself comfortable and slowly close your eyes.

Take a nice breath in and out.

No need to force it.

Just finding your natural rhythm.

And so right now nothing needs to happen.

Just let this be a soft return to yourself.

To the quiet knowing beneath all the noise.

To the place where your breath lives quietly.

Always waiting to welcome you back.

Because the world it moves fast sometimes.

And we forget that even wildflowers grow by being still.

That even trees do most of their growing and being in silence.

So as you settle now perhaps the rhythm of your breath becomes your companion.

In and out.

A tide within you gently brushing the edges of the shore.

There's no need to change anything.

You're not doing this wrong.

Your breath,

Your thoughts,

Your feelings can simply arrive and soften like leaves floating on a slow stream.

And maybe somewhere inside something begins to loosen like the tight thread of should and must.

Just gently unraveling until all that's left is space.

A quiet space where you remember you are allowed to feel ease.

And as you rest here you might notice a flicker of something.

A symbol.

A sense.

A feeling of who you are when you are grounded,

Safe,

Relaxed.

Sometimes it shows itself as a colour.

Sometimes an animal.

A tree.

A mountain.

A bird in flight.

Something from nature that holds a quiet strength.

A deeper truth about who you are beneath it all.

You don't have to name it.

Just let it arrive and stay as long as it wants to.

A gentle guide from the part of you that already knows.

Because even just a few minutes of stillness can remind the nervous system what calm feels like.

And with repetition it can become more familiar,

More trusted,

More yours.

So if today you do nothing else,

Know that this was enough.

You returned.

You listened.

And something softened.

And when you're ready you might gently invite the world back in.

Or simply rest here a little longer.

Wrapped in the quiet knowing that everything you need is already within you.
