There is a list in your head right now. The conversation did not land right. The decision you keep turning over. The thing you meant to handle today and did not. You are allowed to sleep anyway. Not because those things stop mattering, but because solving them at midnight is not how they get solved. This is a practice for closing your eyes with something unfinished. Your nervous system can rest while the day is still open.
