Greetings and welcome to today's meditation,

Releasing the Illusion of Control.

Get comfortable and begin to settle in your body.

Let your breath soften as you relax into this moment.

There is nothing to manage right now because you're here and a part of you is ready to release the pressure of always being in control.

Visualize yourself just standing at the edge of a quiet path.

Each step you take,

You release a little bit more because your body knows how to protect you.

It once believed that control was the way to keep you safe.

Ask yourself,

What part of me needs control to feel okay?

Give it the opportunity to reveal itself through sensation,

Imagery,

Thought,

Or even something else.

Relax.

Speak gently to it.

Thank you so much for your service.

You don't have to hold all of this by yourself anymore.

If it feels safe and okay to do so,

Place your hand on your heart.

I release the illusion of control because I am not alone.

Because I am supported.

Because I am safe to let it go.

Allow that just to soak in.

Breathe deeply.

I choose integrity over control because my worth is not based on performance because self can lead the way.

Allow yourself to take that in.

Embody that.

Remind yourself that today I release the illusion of control because I am not alone.

Because I am supported.

Because I am safe to let it go.

Today,

I choose integrity over control because my worth is not based on performance.

Because self can lead the way.

And when it feels complete,

Slowly begin your return,

Wiggling your fingers and wiggling your toes,

And just come back to this moment.

Thank your part for showing up and for being willing to even consider the message,

To consider releasing the illusion of control.

Thank you so much,

And bye-bye for now.
