Which can be utilized as an energy booster in the morning or as an afternoon pick-me-up.
So instead of reaching for the caffeine when you get the yawns,
I invite you to try this awakening breath.
We will complete 3 rounds of 15 inhales and exhales.
The key is to keep the breaths short and circular,
Moving directly from inhale to exhale to inhale and so forth.
I encourage you to inhale and exhale exclusively from your nose to amplify the awakening breath,
And to create even more heat in the body,
I challenge you to reach your hands up towards the sky on your inhales,
And then on your exhales,
Bring your hands down like you're ripping a curtain down from the curtain rod.
Begin in a seated position,
Grounding your feet into the floor,
And keeping a neutral spine.
Take a normal breath here before we get started.
